I was there that night and the tl seems pretty on point but I could swear that the very last song that they dropped after envelope was Love Story by Layo and Bushwacka....and no, I have never heard of this set floating around on mp3.

I saw England vs. Paraguay in Frankfurt in the group rounds which was a pretty boring game but I am still glad I got a ticket at all..half of the tix go directly to sponsors and as it seems, 40 percents of the rest end on Ebay lol. I think this will get worse with every championship in the Future. But besides this, I am having the time of my life here.

Work is low most of the time and everyday our city is full of people of all kind and all get along pretty good with each other. Besides a few times where police arrested Hooligans, 99.9% of the rest just seem to have fun. It is hard to describe, just an over all good feeling, people are smiling and just in a good mood...feeling like Holidays without having holidays. Beer and long nights also during the week help with the over all condition as well. :lol:

I found the review i wrote on TA 11 years ago... [COLOR=#ffffff] [/COLOR][FONT=verdana][COLOR=#ffffff]I got to World just past midnight and to my surprise, the wait on line only took me 5 minutes. Jimmy Van M was mixing at the time and dropped one of the hottest tracks I heard throughout the night as his last track. It just sounded like some kind of evil roar from satan throbbing throughout the song. John Digweed hit the decks next and the place lit up. Digweed was throwing down hard, deep, dark and nasty beats all night long. He and Sasha were tag-teaming the whole time and Sasha was doing his looney dance when he wasnt mixing. World was packed to its max, there were lines for lines. There were sooooo many people in attendence but they all appeared to be having a good time. I found a spot by one of the pillars to just hung out there for a few hours and enjoyed the magic. The sound system was V-DOSC which is a backup system but it had really good output. The visuals were amazing. It was definitely a memorable night. Sasha & Digweed stopped playing at about 5:30, and the crowd went nuts. So they came back on to play one more tune..ended the night with some breakbeat track. I got these tracks down, in no real order...
