but..... you guys really think this set is good? best sety you ever heard? did i d/l a different set? i agree, a lot of the tracks are solid and i love hearing all the new tracks he has to throw down, but the mixing sounds really sub par (given he was probably piss drunk or tired as hell... i would be :)). there were two mixes that almost sounded like he came in on an offbeat. if i was familiar with the tracks, maybe i could be more certain. i heard a few really tight mixes and loved the tracks, but i don't see how this could be considered a great set.

i'm not out to bash the man. more power to digs, nothing but respect for the man... just didn't sound like he was on, imo.

I really don't see why people keep bashing digs all the time. If it was not for him most of us would have never gotten into electronic or even the prog sound.

i wasn't bashing him. anyone that actually listens to the set can tell he did not mix that well. he is still my idol, i don't think anything less of him for it.

and yes, if i was on the terrace, i'm sure i would have loved it. i liked it anyways, just wasn't what i expected.

everyone keeps staying that digweed opened with that i'll be your friend track....that was lee's last track, lee just threw it in.....its a very big change from what lee was playing throughout his set when it came on i watched the booth like a hawk to really see if it was digs first track......AND IT WAS NOT

if you listen to the mix into the next track you def. tell that its digweed mixing it in

and yes digs fucked up big time by hitting the FF button on the cdj......but who cares it was a long week everyone was wrecked

I believe it's Digweed's 2nd and 3rd tracks, he played those at the Pawn Shop as well, and they destroyed the place. Hernan Cattaneo was out here in LA over the weekend and he played the same tracks, I neeeeed to know what they are!! The vocals are "dun dun day...dun dun day...dun dun day" or whatever :p A cookie is the reward.

I was there this past weekend to see Hernan, pretty solid mix. I really didnt like Eve Falcon's warm up set, that shit was lame.

Im sure that "dun dun day" track, (2nd track jd plays) is probably some remix or track by DJ T, it sounds like his work.
