Not sure what people are so mad about....to me it's the same energy level of his Live in Slovenia album....peak time music with more kick driven beats as opposed to more atmospheric progressive house and techno.
It's not a set that featured music I particularly like to listen to, but as was mentioned, he was playing with the likes of Moudaber, Pan Pot, etc...make sense he'd play tracks that sounded like they're part of a Sci-Tec showcase.

I don't think that there is a single DJ the consistently delivers anymore. Digweed seems more focused on new music all of the time. New doesn't always mean better.

Well as it happens Slovenia is also hands down the worst cd he's ever done too. By a long way as well. So there you go. Both rubbish and belong in the same bin.

30-40% of it is garbage. The rest is peak time techno house I'm not interested in. I won't be sad, mad or depressed because of it. We have 23 epic bunkers.
That said... The sad state of commercial techno/house... Even Digweed has to play a few turds that would repulse other DJs.

I will give this a listen no doubt, but I agree with the Slovenia comments, that was an awful release all round, just not my cup of tea at all.

Slovenia grew on me....but basically it's music for the club and not as listenable at home. It doesn't mean it's bad music....I can't imagine what that night must have been like if you were actually at the party.
