No Facebook then? Not bothered if not, I'm only going on there on Saturdays for Digweed these days as it's become a cesspool of tinfoil hat twattery at the moment. But I do like to Chromecast it onto the TV, and Mixcloud doesn't offer that as John notes. So Facebook is still the best option for me if it's on both platforms still.

You don't have to join Mixcloud Select to stream the mix live - just to listen later.

Most DJs I've watched recently on FB have drop outs, it's a bit shit for longer live videos.

True, Bunker Sessions are available only for "select" subscribers, but the video streaming is available for all...i guess.

Probably licensing. they have to jump through hoops to get stuff cleared for physical release.

Looks like FB has already muted some of the tracks from the last night.

Regarding diff between Bunker and Live In.. I'd say that Live In is snapshot of how his club mix sounded at the moment. Bunker sessions are something different..I dont think that he is going with his club sound with them.

The 'unlicensed' parts are muted automatically and the entire audio is downsampled at 10KHz. I capture the raw bitstream on the fly to avoid this.

It looks like it's a few seconds shorter (missing intro and a few seconds from the end?) and probably not 320kbps, at least from what I can hear on a Dragonfly DAC. Hmm...

Also, Mixcloud streams at 64kbps AAC so it's kind of weird when they say 320kbps MP3. :|

Yes - he did say a few weeks ago that he was enjoying the Bunker sessions because it gives him a chance to dig through his collection. Demonstrated to awesome effect with the Electro mix in 009 - doubt he would have tried that in a club.

Miami was a snorefest.
