320k version will not available this week: DIFM: [I]"Hi there, late last week we made a change to reset to 128k AAC for a few days, as a lot of the higher bitrates were not ideal due to the COVID19 situation. Due the virus in some countries internet is overloaded so the priority is set bandwidth for really important stuff.

Hi, I don't grab files from the streaming with radio ripper, stream ripper or others, and you're right it's still @320k, i download them after the show from their web player with a "special software". Due corona virus right now the quality has been downgraded to 128k AAC so the only thing i can do is wait.

Okay cool. I grab the stream with Ripcast on live broadcast, so if it's still okay I can use that still. Obviously I won't step on your toes here and let you do your own thing when it becomes available to you. But I'll upload my copy on the site I usually do it for.
As you have a way of grabbing the 320k from their web player, might you be able to do me a favour and grab some of the Eats Everything shows on there? Unfortunately it's not something I know how to do. I can give you the show numbers I need if so. No one else seems to record them, and there are a few that I've either missed or they have not broadcast at all. Happy to discuss over PM if you prefer and thanks a lot if you can help!

It's not a big deal, we'll have the new transitions two days later.

I've never been a Proton subscriber or listener, but I'd guess their loss of the Transitions rights was due to the fact that they used to have the "world exclusive" first play, and now they don't - Diggers choosing to go with Mixcloud instead so he makes more money from it. Maybe Proton weren't interested in playing second fiddle? DIFM have always had it a few days later, so I guess the current arrangement hasn't changed and they don't need to "renegotiate" contracts, rights etc. Could of course be speaking too soon, but I don't see how it's in John's interests to restrict the number of stations that host his show. He has, and presumably wants to retain, a global audience. Not everyone is just going to suddenly sign up for Mixcloud Select if he decides to not renew contracts with other broadcasters.

To lighten the mood, here's the 320k version of Episode #813. Just filling in for DJLellone until he can get the Special Stuff again.
My own recording from DIFM's live stream on Monday, recorded with Ripcast and edited with MP3DirectCut. Think the WeTransfer link only stays active for a week, so DJLellone can put his own version up when he's able and this will expire naturally, or I can re-upload it later if needed.

@DJLellone - hmm. It says 105 episodes available, but you're right. If you click onto the page itself, only the most recent 4 are there. That's annoying. Maybe it's temporarily restricted due to corona? I'll keep an eye on it in case the older shows come back.
Of those 4, I do need #161 if you could grab that one mate. Sorry to ask for loads of stuff, but if you could also grab Joris Voorn - Spectrum Radio #127, 134, 138, 139 & 147 as well that would be an enormous help filling some gaps too!
