Re: Transitions 552 ● John Digweed with a guest mix by Nick Warren

Was Nicks mix mixed by Nick Warren or Nick Muir? Like most of the other transitions mixes.

Nick reads the forum, he can answer all your questions.

Re: Transitions 552 ● John Digweed with a guest mix by Nick Warren

I would asume that all guest mixes are done by the guest DJ, or the guest DJs pr people.

You do know Cheeky Paul mixed most of the Global Undergrounds?
^^^ why is that funny?
Because PR people are always good at knocking out ghost mixes.

Just google Cheeky Paul Global Underground. Or Darren Emerson Uraguay. Then cross check the GU sleeve notes to the other releases.

I knew there was an engineer mixing things up, but the selection was in the djs hands, just had no idea they ask others to do the same for guest podcasts, that's a bit too much imo

The selection was always the DJ's. Watch the GU video for Darren Emerson's GU. You can see who is wearing the trousers. Back then Nick Warren was the only one mixing them himself. LOL

That's what's so funny when people get all self righteous about the DJ's they like.

Reminds me of when I got booted off the Sasha & Digweed Facebook group. Some helmet there was mouthing off about Steve Aoki broadcasting a set from one club to another (like a live stream). The idiot was mouthing off about how you would not get Sasha or Digweed doing that. At which I felt to tell him that Sasha had done this more than once with ISDN satellites back in 1998 and 1999. The prick called me a liar and they blocked me, even though what I had said was true.

it's true, kind of makes you re-think everything that concerns the scene, but I guess at the end good music always wins no matter the credits

Yes, go out there, enjoy the music and have a good time. Don't think that DJ's have any more scruples than you me or anyone else, because they don't.

Re: Transitions 552 ● John Digweed with a guest mix by Nick Warren

I was always under the impression sasha mixed his GU albums. Had no idea Cheeky Paul actually did. I had heard of this happening a lot though.

What are we cross referencing here? I cant see any correlation with any other releases with Emersons.
