Seriously, I'm just hoping for more Twilo, one day. I'm more fond of the 2001 hour, though, that sound is what brought me to Digweed first (GU:LA).

Seriously, I dunno if it's nostalgia but this still gets me going like nothing today. I'm enjoying the current sounds but they seem to lack some kinda organic or emotional quality that releases the serotonin. [I]This[/I] is hands-in-the-air.

I didn't know much of the music that was played, but I remember Sasha & Digweed's 3rd year anniversary party as one of the greatest nights of my life. It was just the music, friends, people, the vibe, and a few more things that made it such a great night. If he could release something from that night it would be awesome.

From as far back as I remember John records every single one of his sets, always has. I'm sure some technical difficulties have kept some from being recorded but he did record those twilo sets. I would love to have the 3rd and 4th anniversary parties. We had a crew of 30 people from philly, DE, NJ, and MD that went up there... DAMN the memories.
I remember the first time hearing Satoshi Tomies remix of "Love in traffic" and WOW - the Fall (bedrock dub), Shit Roaches sounded insane on that sound system. But the top is Breeder -The Chain and Twilo Thunder on that system... MADAM - Penetration... I could go on and on and on. Everything sounded great there. Not only the sound but the vibe that place had, Like everyone was giddy as they knew something special was going to happen and everyone couldn't wait to go on the journey.
That being said the security were assholes, threw me out because they said i had too much cash on me so i had to pay the doorman $100.00 to get back in. This was on the 3rd anniv party. I would have gave them all the cash i had to get back in there. When I used to go out i was always about the music, which caused many arguments back then. :D:D

Ah Twilo security. The first time i went there (I didn't know who was playing. TBH the whole concept of having a DJ being the main attraction of the night was new to me) I got kicked out. I was sitting on the rows if stairs on the north side of the dance floor (also dubbed the Great Wall of china) and security took a whole section of us and randomly searched us. I didn't have anything on me but the bouncer told me earlier to check my coat and I didn't so he threw me out. Also the blonde lady checking id's at the door didn't let me in a few times when I first started going there. After a while they remembered my face and didn't give me any problems. One time at a PvD party i got thrown out for no reason. Anyone remember the really short but jacked bouncer who would patrol the lounge area east of the main dance floor? After Twilo closed and management started doing Arc Saturdays they brought all the bouncers from Twilo with them.
