Hernan should finally release something, when was it the last time we had a set from him ? Transitions in July to help his Masters compilation sales and before that b'day set. Zero live sets for 2010. I understand he is picky about what to put out but this looks like he doesn't care anymore. Everyone releases something at least once a half year also to avoid these kind of crowd crappy rips circulating around.

That is just ridiculous !! Firstly he doesn't owe us anything !! Here we have this outrageous expectation of free stuff again !! So someone puts up some crap and he is expected to to reward them . ??? Sounds like blackmail to me :evil:

Aside from all that, we know he is working on a weekly show again!! How much more do you fucking well expect for nothing. There is no one who cares more !! And he gives us the best!! :RockOn:

DIDI please stop this crap everytime someone says something you don't like. The fact is he didn't deliver a single live set for 2010 which hasn't happened in years before. He isn't obliged to release anything, but there is a certain understanding between a dj and fans and the dj's part is that he releases something, even 3-4 months old, at least once a year, to keep his fanbase happy and out of crapquality/nonlegit sets. Everyone does it.

And c'mon , working on a weekly show for months ? Someone as skilled and experienced as Hernan ? For him, it must be a one-day job, just like for everyone else is. I'd rather say he works on a "deal" acceptable for him.

And also please stop repeating that "it's free, we should be thankful". Nothing is free. Tickets to the club aren't free. His compilation CD's aren't free. What he gives us "free" we return back in cash. That's how it works and has worked in EDM scene for ages.

There is no justification for putting things like this . It's really not about the music when this happens. It's about being the first to put anything up . Says more about the uploaders than the artists. Listening to great music in awful quality is heartbreaking , but they keep putting it up.

Now Hernan is an example of what I have been talking about, we have got a lot less from him since Perth and Lique. Not that I am saying this is definitely the reason because I simply don't know, and he has been going in a lot of new directions this past year. He is a perfectionist, he wants to put out the best, and give us the best, whether it is a cd or a free mix. We always get superb quality from him. Possibly why I react so strongly here in particular is that MS has been the recipient of an incredible amount of amazing music from him for years. No one had to record shows , he gave them to us, birthday after birthday there he is, and with mixes that a better than a lot of cds out there! I an incredibly grateful we have had all that. He deserves far more respect than he has received from MS lately.

John Digweed is amazing at managing the music! I see Hernan heading the same way once he gets the radio show under way. I trust him totally to look after us, which is probably more than we deserve. :lol: Have a little more patience, if it is the music you care about it's worth waiting a little for the best. :D

He really should work on that issue, just saying..

Wouldnt mind if he shares an old mix, as long as he shares something that the fans can listen.. not only CDs and stuff.. and that's why i said 'm looking forward the weekly Radioshow

I didn't say you were justifying:) It's the ones who put up these sort of mixes that justify. Go back and read my post, it is actually pretty positive. From a personal point of view I don't think it's actually an issue, I'm perfectly happy to wait for the best. :) Although as we know he is working on giving us regular doses of quality music. :) I'm looking forward to it as well ! :)

going through withdrawz, I was thinking, "less live mix more album sales" hopefully that's not what their thinking. what if they up good quality and unauthorized? makes it easier on them right :lol: also DIDI, if i just love the music, I'd just download it. but since i love Hernans taste in music and skiillz in mixing them. "less live mix more album sales" I can tell you right now , this is not what he would be thinking. :) Unauthorised is never right,there are other reasons besides quality. Although one way to tell unauthorised is that they usually ARE crap quality. It's certainly not easier for them , they have a responsibility to the producers to keep unreleased tracks unavailable. Hernan has been burnt over the last couple of years so he would naturally be more cautious.

But it's even simpler than that I think, this perfectionist puts as much importance on the free sets he releases to us as he does his commercial releases. :)
