the one thing that drives me nutz about hernan is the fact that he takes so long b4 he releases sets. kills the fanz that dont have the luxury of catching him live. i am in withdrawl :(

I certainly feel that way too. I'd love to hear some new mixes from Hernan, especially since the summer sets were mere iterations of his latest compilation, and as such not very entertaining - I mean you had it all exquisitely mixed on the two cds, no need to listen to it only slightly changed. I still harbour hope he'll come up with some mixes as destructively powerfull as those from summer 2009, which had kept me going for a long time

He's not tight. He just plays a lot of unreleased stuff in his sets. Last year he had Transitions , Mercury server birthday mix, which was amazing. !! :D I actually thought the promos he put out actually stood up on their own , and there was stuff on them that wasn't on the CDs. And we got the Parallel!!! Which are also amazing :D All in all a damn good amount of quality music !! And most of it free !! :D

We are always going to want more from him, but the quality makes up a lot for quantity.

Yeah, the radio show has been mentioned here and should be happening very soon. Be a lot of happy little campers then :lol:

Btw I wish Garcia would put his radio shows on soundcloud. The guy who is ripping them does as good a job as you can expect, but ripping from a dodgy radio stream is never going to show of the artist properly, and I have to say I can't handle the skips at all !!

I think that all want a new set from hernan, But he is very careful with his music. For this reason we see so many ids in his sets. For example the track "Hakimonu & Lonya - See Saw" he put it to half of last year But newly this track side the light in a few weeks. As didi`s said he plays a lot unreleased tracks and acetates and promos. It is a way of taking care of his music. Plus. I´ think His sets they enjoy more if they go out every 3 or 4 months and not every week. The radioshow is very interesting to listen too but the liveset or studioset is another thing.

I don't kiss anyone's arse as you may have noticed!! :evil: I give respect where it is deserved. As if Hernan would be reading this to know if we were kissing his arse!! At least I hope he isn't , he doesn't know I swear !! :shock: :lol: I really hate this "we are entitled to free stuff" bullshit !! A lot of that "free" stuff is actually promo shit !! Even Hernan's promos are better quality than a lot of the stuff we get shoved down our throat. As I said I prefer quality to quantity ! And he works fucking hard to make sure that is what we get !!

The fact that people still listen to old Hernan stuff sort of proves MY point. !! I have a lot of his stuff on my mediafire account and every time I go there his music is still being downloaded. I just went to have a look and his live mix August 2008 is actually the top download of the last month. And I do have a lot of other artists up. :)

He has been very kind to this site, we actually get presents from him for our birthday, and how many years did we have the radio show ??, and not a ripped version .

Just a point, by not releasing sets with unreleased tracks he is actually protecting the rights of a lot of producers! Unfortunately we know a lot of that unreleased stuff gets stolen from sets.

As we all know Hernan plays an awful lot of unreleased stuff, to let the club record he would have to compromise his set and that would be sad for those there. It's such a shame that so many people steal :( It ruins it for all of us. :(

Just a further note. I would love it if Hernan records and distributes this set. But the promoters should be fully aware of any consequences if someone illegally records . Firstly it's likely that the club and the promoter would never get Hernan again. !! Secondly the legal ramifications for the club are huge if they break a contract !! It could cost them a lot of money.

I still find the MS birthday one of the most moving mixes I've ever heard. Parallel is absolutely stunning from the first note for me :D

I found so much amazing music and so many brilliant producers from Hernan's radio shows . I can't wait for them to start again :D

I'm listening to Masters Series Vol 13 for the first time in a little while... Such a good pair of CDs... Lost mine, but Amazon had the mix for digital download at $1.98... Can't pass that up. Still waitin as well guys and gals :-)

Amazon don't do digital download for Australia . Not that it matters that much, I have them all on CD anyway. But there would be some I would buy just to listen to if I could. It's just a tad galling that in this day and age of the internet some things are even harder in different parts of the world. We should be truly global now.

I know... I still to this day can not subscribe to the Metrophonic podcast in iTunes because it is not available in US... Also, along time ago Renaissance had a connection with Thrive label here in the US and they would release all there CDs at the same time here as the UK, then that ended and I would have to wait a month before I could order it and wait longer....
