thanks for clearing it up Di ... i was wondering how many promos did Hernan release for the new album ... not that i'm complaining but more new Hernan mixes are always welcome :)

Bloodstream, I got the Zabiela one given to me free when I went to his gig and I still wouldn't play it again. The gig was really disappointing as well !! He is a turntablist, all technique, no rhythm or groove . It's apples and oranges and the Zabiela is rotten fruit :lol: You also had a similar comment on Soundcloud ?? Zabiela brought to mind this remark from Steve Porter a few years ago.

You should have quit at the " to each his own." Of course I am not happy when people bash Hernan , but I respect other people have their own opinion. And I am certainly allowed to have and state mine. Btw I certainly didn't say women were better. if you read it it was Steve Porter that said it, and I said that twice, and he didn't even say women are better :lol: What he said was that we hear things differently and as we all know, men and woman do look at a lot of things differently but EQUALLY ;)

DIDI Zabiela CAN play fantastic rhythmic music if he wants to, just check his sets @ Space. But i'm with you on this one, both essential mix and his masters doublecd were in part a big pain to listen.

^^^ Perhaps I was harsh. But I really didn't enjoy him at all. But I have to say the guys were going crazy :lol: Probably won't check him out merely because there is so much fabulous stuff around at the moment that I absolutely love :D

Indeed. The only decent part in his most recent EM was Burning Bridges, I found the rest difficult to get into. Some of his other sets are wicked though. Hit and miss!

though Zabiela is my favorite DJ, didn't love his latest renaissance mix as much as the previous one.

I agree that Zabs gets too technical sometimes but for the most part I still love his creative genius, the key for me is hearing his set when I'm in the right kinda mood for 'different' :)

At the moment from what I have heard, and I'm not listening much :lol: the Day mix is the one I really, really want to get hold of. :D
When I first read about it I thought the Night mix would be the one for me, and I'm sure I will love it, but the Day mix is , well actually I'm lost for the right word :lol: I'm sure I will find one at some stage.
Have I said See the World is quite possibly the most amazing track I have ever heard ?? :lol:

They are sending them out so people in the UK at least can get them on the release date [5th July]. But it also means I should have mine within the week. Very excited :D

What can I say , I think it's brilliant !! CD1 in particular for me. :D Buy it off the HMV link I put up . It's cheaper and they seem to be pretty fast.

Listened to cd2 twice now and love it - real stand out tracks for me so far are Henry Saiz - The rider, FBA -crying shine and Kowalski's remix of your touch. CD1 sounds top but I havent played it from start to finish in one go yet. Dont think I can have a real opinion on it till I do.

Well I have had a good listen to both now. I think both are super amazing :lol: Cd1 has the edge because it is something new and different and possibly because of that it just emotionally moves me a little more. :D
