Seriously, Resident is about new music , exposing new producers , seeing what works etc. It doesn't even have to be dance music, although it really is with Herman :)

I agree with Didi, in that he's one of the most consistent DJ's, he can play the same kind of music without making it repetitive. How anybody can do that is mind-boggling. He reminds me of David Attenborough, he's frickin' awesome at what he does and makes it look easy! And he's been around for a while too but prob not 50 years like Attenborough, lol :)

:lol: Definitely not 50 years. And he still has an incredible passion for the music, again a bit like David Attenborough :lol: I've said this before , he makes everyone's music better when he plays it. And it does look easy, incredibly long sets and not a dropped note anywhere. :) Do you all know how much hard work goes into that ??

I'm a bit worried , he said in an interview he wanted to this when he as ready to retire :) Glad to see he still has many gigs coming up , Phew !!

When he hangs up his hat, I will be revisiting his awesome sets he's given us over the past nearly 2 decades. Although he might still release mixes when he's done. Anyways, hopefully this is years away!!
