^^ Will you please stop posting shitty mix clouds here please.??? They sound awful !! We get our link direct from Hernan . He goes to a lot of trouble so we hear it the best way possible .
Re: Hernán Cattáneo Resident | Delta FM 90.3 • 01.12. 2012 • Episode 082
if people want to stream the show 1st, or download an inferior version, why should that bother you? i'm a fan as well, but i don't feel the need to control the thread. btw, didi, you posting the links before hernan gets them up is very much appreciated. another great show this week.
Re: Hernán Cattáneo Resident | Delta FM 90.3 • 01.12. 2012 • Episode 082
That was probably something that should have been said in a pm. But seeing it wasn't I will answer it here. You also don't put in the effort I do. In case you haven't noticed I am the one that maintains these threads. And not so that people can come in here to have a go at me. As I said a pm might have been appropriate. Up to date I haven't responded to personal attacks here, because I figured what I do is more important, but I think even for Hernan I am only copping so much. And let's face it the damage is done, keeping the peace is no longer really an option here. Disappointingly. Saying you appreciate the links does not negate what you said before that. I think I might just go and answer Virgil's as well now.
Now why it bothers me ! If they want to stream they can stream from the Podbean site in better quality. From the link I put up in the first post. Because Hernan doesn't want his music out there in bad quality he makes it available to us in great quality and I go to a lot of trouble to get this up as quickly as possible for everyone so they can get the best quality. I think just maybe that gives me least the right to post my opinion of crap uploads. Which is all I did because I very obviously don't control these threads or it wouldn't be there. It is not respecting or doing any artist justice, when they do all that to then have people like this upload to a crappy site and expect kudos for it. ??? It is so insulting to the artist!! That respect is a very important thing to me.
I hope that answers your questions , if you want to carry this conversation any further please feel free to pm me.
Just for the record, Hernan's forum here is the ONLY reason I stay on this site.
Another just for the record, I will not apologise for being very partisan about protecting Hernan's interests. He does more for his fans than any other Dj on the planet. Everyone who has ever met him has a good Hernan Cattaneo story. He is incredibly generous with his time. I think he deserves to be treated accordingly. He does not want his work represented in anything but the best way possible. I am going to continue to do what I can to make that happen.
Re: Hernán Cattáneo Resident | Delta FM 90.3 • 01.12. 2012 • Episode 082
Wait, what about Hernan's recent Mixcloud links on Twitter? You're right about Mixcloud though...it's definitely not my preferred means of streaming. Thanks for doing what you do!
Re: Hernán Cattáneo Resident | Delta FM 90.3 • 01.12. 2012 • Episode 082
Didi, don't get me wrong, I appreciate the work you put in but I don't always have the time to download nor do I want to download every episode.
My vote goes for keeping the convenience of the mixcloud and your downloads when we want it high quality. :)
Re: Hernán Cattáneo Resident | Delta FM 90.3 • 01.12. 2012 • Episode 082
Firstly thank you , well said, but I think you are depriving yourself. :) You can stream the podcast , just left click instead of right. That's pretty convenient. Obviously people do it the way they want to, what I don't like is inferior links in the page that has the best ones. Let them put it up in the normal P & R if they want. This is Hernan's sub forum, so it should represent him well. Obviously as I have said already I can't do anything about it. Well, except bitch about it:lol: Hopefully more people will be aware of where the best is as well.
Btw they are not my downloads they are Hernan's :Respect:
As a matter of interest. I have been around long enough to hear the progression from vinyl, tape, cd etc, mp3 is the only step backwards in sound quality. It makes me sad that so many people will never hear what good recorded music can sound like. I blame iTunes a lot  I'm not saying digital is bad , digital is wonderful. We have easy access to so much more wonderful music. I love WAV. :)

For more than 5,000 years, the mystery schools of Egypt have optimised the ultimate in secret wisdom and knowledge. Perhaps, it has been theorised, they were wise masters which ancestors survived the destruction of lost continents and made their way to the early civilisation of Egypt, where they helped to elevate it to a greatness far in advance of other cultures of that era. Nowadays the legacy of those ancient skills has been hijacked by a few citizen from Amsterdam who formed the Hi-Fi Mystery School. They create music with consciousness elevating frequencies and animations with Sacred geometrical shapes. The geometry and the music are ONE! On the Metatronik EP, the Hi-Fi Mystery School reveals some of its new treasures to the world.

Following his hugely successful debut LP ‘Traces’, highly praised by the likes of RA, Mixmag and DJ Mag, Simon Baker’s latest EP on Last Night On Earth, ‘Hideout’ see’s the British producer pressing those buttons again. Simon’s signature sound, ‘Hideout’ is swimming in gentle drum pads and irresistible melody, yet maintains a deep and chunky synth. The Native American-esque flutes are simple yet add all the intrigue to this track.
The bouncing bass notes in ‘Beliefs’ are only the beginning to this meaty house number. Again this track experiments with indigenous sounds that give it an eery twist.
ThermalBear’s remix strips back the warmth from ‘Hideout’, plays heavier on the hi-hats and introduces clear rise and fall to produce a sterner version of the track.

09. Guille Quero & Sound Process - Modular [unreleased]
The unreleased 'Modular' is one of a batch of 4 tracks available for streaming on Guille's Soundcloud, made with Resident regular Sound Process.
Under the influence of such artists as Frankie Knuckles, David Morales and Danny Tenaglia, in 1991 Guillermo Quero began his career as the warm-up DJ at Reflex club in Quilmes, south of Buenos Aires. A year later, he became the main resident, stepping into his second residency in 1993 at Nexo, a six thousand people venue located in Lomas de Zamora.
In 2003, Paul Oakenfold picked him as the winner of the first Heineken Thirst Contest in Argentina and he also joined the Creamfields Buenos Aires line-up since that year on.
He started producing in 2005 and his track Virus soon reached international audience when included by fellow Martín García on his guest set for UK's Kiss FM. The same year, both artists frequently shared Pachá"s decks and Guille also played at Brahma Beats festival, Moonpark alongside Hernán Cattáneo and John Digweed, and with Jimmy Van M. in the city of Rosario. In January 2006, he toured around Argentina and Uruguay with Luke Fair and Hernán Cattáneo.
Nowadays, Guille keeps producing new tracks with Deep Mariano and playing at different South American clubs and parties every week.

10. Rich Curtis - Lower My Voice (Pig & Dan Remix) [Release | R01]
Original and remix collaborations on the first reference of RELEASE. An EP with and amazing original track from Rich Curtis and an outstanding lineup of remixers such as Pig & Dan, DNYO, Oliver Lieb, Tim Penner and Ioan Gamboa.
Release Date: Dec. 17th 2012
Pig & Dan Bio
Looking back, the meeting of minds during a chance encounter of Igor Tchkotoua (Pig) and Dan Duncan on a flight to Spain in 1999, sounds like the opening scene of a Hollywood movie, certainly neither musician could have the written the script of what happened next. Recognising a mutual philosophy, and using their own musical background that dated back to the start of the dance scene, they combined to create a slick production outfit that would entrance clubbers and soon win compilation support from the likes of Sander Kleinenberg, Felix Da Housecat, John Digweed and Nic Fanciulli. Most significantly though, their tech tour de force ʻOh Yeahʼ (2005) signalled the start of their ongoing relationship with Cocoon Recordings, which has seen their status as DJs and producers soar on a global level.
From humble beginnings in late 80s, playing the tea boy and exploring the workings of a recording studio, both Igorʼs & Danʼs experiences stem from an era of primitive technology and old fashioned production techniques. Danʼs own history saw him as part of the hugely successful drum ʻnʼ bass act ʻIntenseʼ, during which time he also played alongside luminaries such as LTJ Bukem and Fabio & Grooverider. When Pig&Dan decided to join forces, they began a truly prolific production schedule – with 18 releases in just over year – establishing their reputation as producers of pulsating electronic music that straddled dark house and high energy techno whilst creating their signature of twisted and experimental breakdowns. These releases on their label Submission would prove to be merely a stepping stone though.
In 2005, they commenced Sonic Society and focused more toward the edgy minimal that would attract Cocoon Recordings, as well as all the leading jocks such as Sven Vath, Loco Dice and Tiefschwarz. As testament to their continued master production skills, the disturbingly dark ʻOh Yeahʼ has been followed by 8 more releases on the seminal Frankfurt imprint, including their own artist album, ʻImagineʼ. During this time, their profile as in-demand remixers has reached the point where such electronic pioneers as Underworld were coming back for more!
2012 saw the duo celebrate 10 years with 'Decade' [Soma Quality Recordings] as well as having two releases on Bedrock, including a collaboration with fellow Cocoon stable mate Mark Reeve, and an EP on Tronic.
