One hour like this is not just something, it is wonderful !! It's amazing what he can do in an hour. It may be small but it is a perfectly formed set. :D Every time I listen , I am reminded just how good he is at this !! .:D But yeah, I still want more :lol:

Btw splitting the radio show makes it easier to work out tracks, he mixes so well that is sometimes hard. It's quite embarrassing to say you love a certain track and then find out it was actually the track before or after :lol:

I was hoping other djs would follow his example here, but he is still the only one that makes it really easy for us to get high quality almost instantaneously.

When he is on form I can't think of any other word that describes it better really. He did a mix a few years back that had [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=125"]Infusion[/url]-So Soon on it after about 30 minutes - there are 20 minutes in that set that are PURE liquid.

Little late review..

Always nice to see Live stuff from Hernan but an hour still is an hour for me, couldnt get myself completely into it.. Really like the second half though.. a keeper for the collection nonetheless 8)

I saw Digweed last night, and it made me miss Hernan even more. Hernan is just far and away the best Dj on the planet for me. He plays these incredible flawless sets and all of it music I love !!

Think Hernan is the best on the planet ?. Get on a plane and go and see Garcia play a 4.5 hour set in Buenos and then make your choice for the title of your personal best DJ on the planet. Until you have Hernan is just the interim tittle holder. Martin Garcia is the Apprentice who surpassed his Master. As it should be.

I totally disagree with that !! I record Martin every week . They are both technically brilliant. But there is a coldest about Martin's sets. He doesn't have that incredible personal thing that Hernan has with his fans, I think it comes down to the sharing. Hernan loves to share. Martin not so much :lol: Hoping on a plane to BA to catch Martin is a bit problematical as he doesn't seem to announce his gigs till that day. :lol: You should hop on a plane to BA for one of Hernan's Moonparks. And I have done that !! Just pure , amazing magic !! :D

I know we all have different tastes, but these two really shouldn't be compared. Hernan is very much still the master, and he will stay that way as long he wants. He really cares about his fans. And it shows in his music. As long as Martin is so insular he will never be anything but the apprentice.

I personally think where ever they go, they rip the floors up.

However, I do agree on the home turf advantage of the crowd/venues etc.

Martin doesn't go any where. :lol: Certainly not here , that is what I am bitching about !! :lol: If we want to see him we pretty well have to hop on a plane.

I can't speak for being at a Martin gig, but definitely Hernan's gigs are very, very special . There is something you just don't get unless you are there. Luckily he does get out here once a year :D

Re the home turf thing,in this case it may be more an Argentina thing. Nearly all the top Djs just love going to Argentina. Look at the tracklists in their sets, a lot of Argentinian names there. A lot of that is due to Hernan . He has done sooo much not only for EDM but for music in his own country. He is the reason people like Martin don't have to travel, but still have a recognisable name. :) He is also doing quite a bit for our Aussie producers.

I feel totally vindicated that I have been preaching Argentina for years :lol:

also occurs to me, playing too much material. acetates, promos, unreleased, etc, perhaps he wants to keep the secret.
