01. Dapple Apple - Cardboard Spaceship For The Cat [Unsigned]

Dapple Apple (aka Anthony Antsyferoff) is a young DJ and producer from Donetsk, Ukraine, and has music signed to Proton offshoot imprint Particles.

[SOUNDCLOUD]http://soundcloud.com/dappleapple/tracks[/SOUNDCLOUD]

He made his first steps on electronic stage in 2006, when his tastes were focused on trance music. From 2009 to 2010 he produced a few successful releases under "The Dreamline" alias. But his strong desire for experimentation and love to deep sounding made him left the commercial trance scene. That was the beginning of "Dapple Apple". The concept of this new project is absolute identity and getting out of style trends limits. And main background of this music is uplifting harmonics, breathtaking atmosphere and rhythm.

Baires Records is glad to present "Carbon Monoxide" as the sixth release of this label by the producer Rodrigo Mateo.

"Rodrigo Mateo", Electronic music producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Started his producer career at the age of 20,5 years after his first contact with electronic scene, listening djs like John Digweed, Danny Howells, Eelke Kleijn, Henry Saiz, Guy J. Rodrigo Has several influences present at the time of composing. Starting with the abstract synthetic ambient music like The Haffler Trio, Oöphoi, Tau Ceti, Mathias Grassow and Amir Baghiri among others, obtaining from them elements related to a more spiritual side of music, subconscious sounds, which ended in the need to fuse them with the modern progressive house. The only objective in his music is to share feelings and emotions, deep and spiritual melodies, as well as a effective club sound.

BAIRES006 is composed of an original made by Rodrigo mateo, this track called "Carbon Monoxide" including remixes by : Santiago Garcia, Stefan Djordjevic & Praveen Achary.

"Santiago Garcia" is once again with his new musical stlye, tech house mixed with progressive melodies of the genre. His remix si supported and mixed by renowned dj & producer Hernan Cattaneo, entering in one of his resident in Delta FM 90.3 . One of his major influences in this moments.

Santiago also decided to make the version "Instrumental Mix" to hihlight what brings melodic electronic music within, whitout percussions, kicks, bass and everything else

"Stefan Djordjevic" born on 1985th in Belgrade, Serbia. He got interested in music production at the age of 16th and started following since then. His beginings were primarily related to psy-trance and techno but as time was passing by, he found himself in more sofisticated sounds with cheerful melodies like tech-house, deep-house, progressive, prog-house etc. This great producer, that we consider one of the best of the moment. He joins us for the first time in Baires Records by the second remixer of "Carbon Monoxide", he makes the most suitable version for dancing clubs.

And finally

"Praveen Achary", the new age Indian dance music producers and artists are creating their presence far and wide. His diverse international sound is influeced from his strong musical background as well as traveling across the world. His panache & signature style, with an emphasis on a unique combination of "Deep, Tech and Progressive House". As the third remixer of this release, brings as an excellent job in the interpretation of the track, playing an unique way the melody of the original track, using his own synths characteristics of him.

Baires Records is proud of this release and all the artists who make it up.

Artist/Title: Matador | Kingswing EP
Catalogue No.: MINUS116
Label: MINUS

TRACK LISTING:
A1. Kingswing
A2. Mambo
B1. Hitbox
B2. Nomans Land
DX. Korrado (Digital Only)

Minus are proud to present the newest member of the family, in the form of Matador. In the past four years Gavin Lynch's sounds have found a home on Perc Trax and Cocoon, plus most recently on Plus 8 , where Richie Hawtin recently introduced the young Dubliner ahead of his first Minus event (at Berlin's Watergate, joining the Minus team for the official Fly Bermuda after party), with his stellar remix of Bryan Zentz's D-Clash. After that introductory taste, Matador now takes the bull by the horns for his first full EP for Minus, exploring the twisted but organic techno sound he's best known for.

Hawtin fans will recognise the EP's title track instantly as a jewel in the crown of his recent Boiler Room set in Amsterdam, for the hugely influential internet broadcast's Minus showcase from ADE 2011. All bleeping soft focus melody lines and cantering kicks, it's a slowly building bomb.
Elsewhere there is shimmying, suggestive minimal coated in warm tape hiss on 'Mambo' and brooding, heavily-weighted backroom sounds speckled with rasping, rising synth lines and glistening percussion on 'Hitbox.'

'Nomans Land' is a bouncy, with wispy hi-hat ringlets and a buried-in-the-mix, undecipherable vocal running through it. The little details around the edges are what bring the groove alive. Coming from a different angle altogether is Korrado': its melancholic notes hang above firm, pulsing kicks and bittersweet overtones.

08. Oliver Huntemann - The End (Paranoia LP) [Ideal Audio | IDEAL020premium]

The Hamburg based beatmaker is set to release his fourth album, “Paranoia”, on his Ideal Audio imprint, and is set to reaffirm his status as a true techno stalwart. A vanguard of electronic music, Huntemann’s truly universal appeal lies in his ability to consistently produce some devastatingly brilliant electronica, illustrated by the fact that he has remixed the likes of Underworld, Chemical Brothers and Depeche Mode.

The longevity of Huntemann’s distinguished career rests upon his ability to consistently progress and develop his sound. Despite this constant evolution, few would argue that Huntemann is synonymous with an honest brand of deep and intricate electronica techno, which is evident on this exciting new release.
The precision and skill with which Oliver Huntemann expertly engineers his songs together with his studio wizard and co-producer André Winter is once again apparent on “Paranoia”, which maintains the lofty standards already set by previous albums and his musical output.

On “Paranoia”, Oliver Huntemann seems to effortlessly demonstrate remarkable versatility as he captivates an aray of techno and electronica styles and moods within the album. “Rotten” and “Delirium” explore the industrial sounds of music, “Rotten” with its robotic beat and a hypnotic spoken word vocal looped over the top, and additional industrial sounds that add the significant swing and groove to the track. “Delirium” on the other hand, still being industrial sounding, is a much more hardlined and a slightly aggressive approach with its straight forward stomping beat and pulsating bass; it’s perfectly engineered to hit the dance floors.

“In Times Of Trouble” is another that Huntemann clearly intended to hit the dance floors with force as it constantly builds and builds to then drop into a lull moment before lunging back into another intense build. It is the perfect tool to build the tension on the dance floor before dropping a dance floor destroyer behind it. One such as “Dark Passenger” would be perfect, with its complexly pulsating bass, which also seems sporadic with a mind of its own, only just being tamed by the commanding beat. This piece of music releases a perfectly laid out echoing synth that creates a monolithic ambiance, that dictates the power of this track.

“Phantom” on the other hand is one that is remarkably deceptive with its sonic soundscape that touches the depths of a deeper feeling yet introduces an intricate electronic beat layered with subtle electronic percussion and heavy sonic synths which bring it up to a higher level. “Phantom” is engineered into a progression of lull moments that rise up, never taking things out of control and perfectly tamed to right level.

Huntemann also explores the space age minimalism with “Magnet” and its dark crunchy bass sounds, or “Traquillizer”, with its huge space age techno sound, which transports the listener away to another world. As well as more melodic upbeat productions such as “The End”, in which warm sounds resonate through the listener and produce overwhelming feelings perfect for the ending to any epic experience.

The calibre of the vocalists which feature on the album illustrates the high regard in which Oliver Huntemann is held by his peers. “Hope” sees a notable appearance from world-famous and highly sought-after American vocalist Robert Owens, whose mesmerising vocal contributes an air of ‘hope’ to what feels like a deeply driven production with a mild dark side, forming an unforgettable tune which is undoubtedly one of the albums standout tracks.

Also from prime electronic stock is the supremely talented Danish singer Ane Trolle who has previously worked with Trentemoller. On “Wahnfried” she lends a winderfully delicate vocal to a slow and intense atmospheric beat.

Oliver Huntemann has also commissioned a hand-picked group of global film-makers and some musical peers in Sebrok and Xenia Beliayeva to produce a video for each track. The videos further explore the themes from the album and are a fantastic addition to the release.

With this latest album Oliver Huntemann has yet again demonstrated why he is one of the most revered producers in the scene who is unrivalled in his ability to construct deceptively intricate and powerful songs. Once again Huntemann has delivered a compelling and memorable album which keeps drawing the listener back into its darkest depths again and again.

Misstress Barbara - "Really like this release. Rotten and Phantom are the top ones for me." Nick Warren - "Excellent work from Oliver as always, Phantom is a beast!!"
