So how many on here would like to see a mobile friendly (so far only iOs and Android variants available) for [ms]. It's expensive but I personally think we could benefit from it.

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

that crapberry app that worked for a while was great; so yes; but not if its gonna bankrupt the system

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

if I get enough votes, I'll gift it to ms.

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

hell mthafckin yeah! i just got a samsung focus windows phone (finally got rid of my crapberry, thank god!), and i can say i'm truly impressed with its proficiency. waiting and boredom has ceased to exist now. matter of fact, i'm barely on my desktop replacement rugged laptop anymore --- as i log on and browse [ms] now from my samsung.

so i'm all for it bro. i'll even pitch in fiscally if need be.

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

i think u should do a poll about how many users brows the internet using their phones first... its a guess but i think u may find that people from different countries have different answers to that question

I use tapatalk to browse the forum from my phone, and would probably do that regardless of whether there was a dedicated mobile web site.

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

^This. I don't really like the tapatalk interface so I just use it in read-only mode, but would the mobile site version really be that much better? I know the tapatalk plugin is already active and enabled for this site...

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

oh okay. in my case, i don't use the mobile version(for many reasons), but only the desktop version i utilize - forsures. it is costly, but it requires discernment and agility to negotiate... or else the phone bill will become an ever more proportionate fiscal mess

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

i mean, it would be great if [ms] were portable, but i can honestly wait to be done taking a shit to read up on GYY. :D

just seems like it'd be a lot of work. if it's easy though..... why not?!

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

Humm...

Hey Kamal if you want to see how many ppl are using the site via mobile, if you have the apache access.conf logs available, and hopefully for a good range of time, I could see how many hits the site gets via mobile vs firefox non-mobile, etc.

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

I would love this! I'd probably use it 85% of the time if you had MS on the app store.

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

I think its a cool idea aswell, dont really post that much anymore but its always cool to have proper app on ya mobile for the sites you look at most frequently.

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

What kinda mobile friendly? Like a WAP site, or a version that's accessed with an app similar to Tapatalk?

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

MS works fine on my iphone aside from it taking a little longer to load. An app would be awesome though!

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

i just installed tapatalk but it says ms' version of the plugin is too old :/

nevertheless, i would like to see an app (although i'd need one for wp7).

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

^^ Yeah working again now.

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

Its not an "app" per se, it's a platform that will be installed on the server that will display a modified mobile version of the site which is phone friendly

Re: [ms] Mobile Version

I´d be all over it, there have been times when MS was blocked at work and yeah, I can browse it on my iPhone during lunch breaks, but it´s not very manageable, and it is kind of slow, so it would be really convenient to have an iOS version, and, like others have said before me, I´d even be willing to buy it in app form.

I would love an MS app for WP7. Maybe one day? I have tapatalk but rarely use it. Maybe I will plug MS in there for now.
