Well Wachovia bank has agreed to pay $160 million in fines for laundering [U]$400 BILLION[/U] for drug cartels in Mexico.

God I'm so glad that all these banks got bailed out. We really need them. How could all the crack heads get their crack if Wachovia didn't launder the money for the drug cartels.

Also doesn't $160 million seem like a good deal considering they laundered $400 BILLION.. I would do it again with just that little fine. They probably made 10 times that in loans and interest.

Oh ya and nobody went to jail. Wachovia the biggest drug dealer I know.

Ya kind of but I wanted to make sure everyone knew because Wells Fargo is taking them over. Also that the banks and the government know what is going on down in Mexico with all the killings.

Game recognize game, amazing how the govt will bail out these banks, when everyone knows they have the angles down, imagine they had to make at least 10 percent on that 400 billions, 40 billion is not a bad days work. BTW glad your are back RM, GYY can use a jumpstart.

JPMC, GS, CS, UBS...all of these paid similar fines in the past and no one went to jail. The offences of the banking industry are many but the punishments few.
