I may not agree on all of the details of everyday politics & life, but your vision is spot on with what's in my head.

To your original post - I'm with skahound to a large extent. Contingency plans are always on the table, whether or not the means are there. Doesn't necessarily mean the pieces will fall into place to make them happen - or so I'm truley hoping.
