Hotfile is being sued by the MPAA for copyright infringement-

I use this service for downloads from time to time. Have never uploaded to it or downloaded any movie materials from said production companies. I'm sure the movie companies are looking for the site to be shut down along with a huge settlement. I just hope ip addresses are not disclosed and backtracked to the individuals.

Re: Another file locker site is being sued

this is the first one i,m actually glad its happening to, hotfile are the biggest cunts on the internet

they take your credit card details if you buy a months subscription and without notice keep updating your subscription each month charging you for a months subscription

they had it coming to them imo

they did it with me, i paid for one months subscription and when it ran out i was automatically charged for another months subscription, u have no idea the shit i had to go through to stop them from doing it...apparently there was something in the small print about this being part of the package but i certainly did not see it so it must be well hidden.... i would never go back to hotfile on a paid suscription, this is a guess but i think they work in different countries under each countries law

Re: Another file locker site is being sued
Q. How does monthly subscription work? A. When you subscribe to a Hotfile plan, your payment method will automatically be set up for monthly recurring billing for your convenience - without having to always manually send money. Your account will remains premium and you don't need to worry about account expiration. Your payment method will automatically be charged one month after your initial transaction and each month thereafter.
from the website itself
