We have 161 different banners. If I had them all in rotation, then your browser would essentially have to keep a mini mp3 in its cache at all times; for those users who don't frequent the site often, it's going to require downloading them every time. The banners are regularly rotated (and have been for years) to keep the cache/download time low while also making sure a particular set of banners don't get burnt out quickly.

Besides, you've had yours for 8 years... can't I have my 8 days? :(

I friggin love...love...love the new banners. It's good to see [ms] growing beyond the chains that bind it. And without a doubt...the Ida banner is fucking hot. She has been one of my top Jayne's in the last year. If you dont know about her, I suggest you seek her out. She ripped DEMF a new asshole last year. Complaining that there aren't enough banners of dj's who are going to need their diapers changed in the near future is such a joke.

The point is this site is not a homage to the likes of JUST hernan, digweed, howells etc.

Sure, they do a lot for the community here. This is why they have their own bloody threads on the home page!

There's a lot of people on here that have musical taste beyond these guys. Picklemonkey has already explained this earlier in the thread. I agree with him and have taken this on board.

And anyway... it's just a banner. As long as they're relatively interesting for most people on here and keep the site fresh... and god forbid actually introduce some new music to some people... I think their job is done.
