yea, i will probably have to buy cds now.. i also heard about the tunnel but ive been told that it doesnt work a lot of times. besides, im studying here for a semester only, then ill go back home... thanks guys

RE the tunnel, you can either set up a VPN tunnel using a router to an offsite network but your best bet is to get a program called HTTPtunnel or I believe theres another one called socks2http. Basically it changes the traffic to HTTP which I'm sure you school will not be blocking, I've used this sucessfully through HTTP proxys.

that is terrible ! ! I dont know what i would do without slsk.. is it possible for people to send you files over aim? If so you could get some sets from your friends, etc.
