That is why I HATE them now. I remember when I was all happy 5 years ago or something when I got the pre sale notice, then I saw how much $$$$$$ they wanted for their tickets. I immediately thought of how bad the Rolling Stones rip off their fans, and that is when U2 died for me. :twisted:

Its bound to happen with the amount of fans they have - although i would agree that tickets are pretty pricey.I've never had the fortune of seeing them live,but I imagine they must be good.

Impossible, logged on and that was it, no dice.

Man, those U2 tickets were next to impossible to get. I had no idea! The cheapest were going for $50. The tickets were sold out in a blink of an eye. I finally got to buy a pair when they announced a second date, but they were crappy seats. Oh well, at least I finally get to see them live once.

u2.com & ticketmaster.com screwed that up. so did ticket brokers who bought 150 memberships...

I read that the Concert for U2 on June here in belgium is already sold out (52.000 tickets) and there's already tickets to sold on e-bay for about 150 Euro .... Fuck that :?

Sigh. Definitely a sad development. When I heard a friend joined the Eagles fan club for 50 bucks to buy tickets I nearly shat myself, but fucking U2!?!?!!? And paying a 150 bucks for seats behind the stage plus the 40 bone fuck you charge? Very disappointed in the gang. I've loved U2 forver, but I'll pass thanks. On Ebay tickets are a minimum of a hundred apiece. Blech.

The ticket went for 755? btw...
