Oh yeah, can't wait to get my mitts on this one tomorrow! Nils Noa's EM rocked, I must concur! To answer your question, vibe, he's Norweigan and part of Bermuda Triangle - the one's that brought us Mooger Fooger as heard on MMII!

#346663Post 8 of 30

#346716Post 11 of 30

ok, so heres the set in review, DL if you like ok so first track g0t me going.. but then after 12 minutes i had to stop ( cause im old and get out of breath easily) a lot of tribal beats, but good for the ear, but it was sl0w so i got to practice dancing and get my steps creative around 20 minutes it got nice change!!! kinda funky, but on a lesser funky scale??? so far so fun... 24 minutes in is renminiseant of a track he played on his mix or his guest??? you know what im talkin about when you hear it... ok stil melodic funky.. (if there is such a thing??) @ 31 minutes it gets kinda electroish.. ok slowin down.. but still funky... 8 thumbs up so far...a little tribaly now at 37 minutes... 0000000 THE BEAT!!!! O SHIT AT 37 YOUR GONNA BE DANCIN OFF YOUR CHAIR!!!!!

ya def dancin yer ass off up untillt tyhe end thats my review :D

 Nice won, disko! I'll have to see which one you were referring to... Diggers or Nils? I'll soon find out... here I go! 8)

#346948Post 19 of 30

This weeks mixes are actually little on the dark side. Digggers mix is slam the last half hr. Nils is pretty good also. Def worth checkin out.

Re: KISS FM 100 (2005-1-23)

I hope Digger's hour is better than his Fabric mix, my copy of which came in the mail a few days ago. I never thought I would write something like this about a Digweed comp, but I was really disappointed, for the same reasons the detractors of the disk have noted on other threads here. Thought a few of the tracks were good, but most were just sort of there and I thought the comp didn't really go anywhere. I think you could pick any one-hour section of his Beirut set and it'd be better than his Fabric disk. :?

Anyhow, enough of my b%tching -- looking forward to hearing the Noa set. Thought his EM was amazing. 8)

#346983Post 21 of 30

does this Noa fella produce anything? i've never heard of him...

#346986Post 22 of 30

Re: KISS FM 100 (2005-1-23)

Re: KISS FM 100 (2005-1-23)

i've listened to both mixes today and the Nils set really didn't do anything for me, of the 3 guest mixes so far this year imo it was the weakest link :?

#347039Post 26 of 30

Definately liking it, good track selection in my opinion :)

#347042Post 27 of 30

great set from mr noa, this "last survivor" remix of buick (is this skylark?) is very good, i'm a big fan of the original.. one of my favourite last year's tracks. this is pleasure for my ears.
