Re: Wtf?
WTF Indeed . !!! I really hope they were a joke and were removed.
There are all these videos of dogs in boots ! It's really bad for the dogs!! They are dogs not dolls to dress up.
Re: Wtf?
I'd rather not have watched that. That's f*cked up.
Re: Wtf?
Yeah he fucking love them sneakers!!
Cruelty of the highest order
Re: Wtf?
fucking koreans and dressing up their dogs
Re: Wtf?
I don't agree with people dressing up their animals for the owners sake of enjoyment (as it seems the owners may have done by this video)
However, please don't judge all people you see putting boots on their dogs. A dear friend of mine who lives in Alberta has to put boots on her one black lab Arnie. He has very weak pads on his feet and in the cold they split and cause him a lot of pain. They have special shoes for him that help and I would hate to think that people are judging them when they walk down the street, as no one is more loving and caring then her (she has even dedicated her life to helping animals by becoming a vet).
Re: Wtf?
^ This! It can be very painful here for dogs with weak pads in the winter. There's so much salt everywhere! Maybe the dog in the video needs them and this was the first time he's had them on.

Re: Wtf?
^^^ Probably less harmful than making them wear shoes and shaving them. [QUOTE=chanty;911516]^ This! It can be very painful here for dogs with weak pads in the winter. Every video of this dog is taken indoors. Another issue for me is that the dog is shaved. There are videos of another dog who had a lovely fluffy coat in Nov , December the dog has been shaved and is out in snow , no shoes , but two coats. Dogs coats are really good at providing just the insulation they need as long as they are well kept.
The sad thing is that we can do just about anything to our dogs and they still love us. Now cats get really pissed off  Love them both :)

Oh come on Garrick, did you see the color of the boots? Yellow is so last year!
Re: Wtf?
I would like to let you guys know that the dog I ate in korea was not wearing boots. I wouldn't stand for that!
Re: Wtf?
i guess it is. those yellow go-go boots don't do that dog justice at all. :)

Excuses :)
Re: Wtf?
^^ Actually that is a pretty good excuse. Probably goes to breeding, wrong dog, wrong place. Which is so widespread you couldn't really blame any one person for.
Re: Wtf?
It's common in China: shoes, boots, sweaters ...
But I've seen an old ailing dog in Sydney wearing the shoes too.
