I had a roots instrumentals cd I used to play all the time, your mix reminds me of it, but more engaging, good stuff man. Really good late night tunes.

thanks man! I'm glad you are enjoying it... I've found that my ear leans toward the weirder side of instrumental hip hop, stuff that's spacey and has late night appeal... always on the hunt for that kind of shit. I feel like I am 10 years too late discovering this stuff, hah.

But theres DJ Food; Coldcut and a ton of ninjatunes artists that blend bounderies; DY yoda, amon tobin, Mr Scruff, Tom Middleton, David Homes etc etc

A couple of days ago I was browsing through this King Britt mix, and was actually kind of put off when I heard a few hip-hop numbers throughout it.

Yep. Anymore sets like that would be great as I don't really have that much in my collection. I enjoy that type of lush, raw and downtempo hip hop and can't seem to find much around.
