This sunday Jan 23rd, at 6 PM EST, Proton Radio?s Particles show will be broadcasting the live sets from Derek Howell, Can Costa and Pepe Camil recorded at the last Underexposed event in Mexico city (late November).

Derek's set was amazing progressive monster with some of the best prog tunes around..

Can Costa played a kick ass funky set, with uber-cool electro / housey tunes.

Pepe Camil did the warmup, the set to be broadcasted is his latest demo (not his live set).

Underexposed's goal is to promote the best up & coming dj/producers from around the globe and was formed in July 2004 by Oscar Colin and Pepe Camil ([url]www.theunderexposed.com[/url]). Their first event was Kosmas Epsilon's show and was broadcasted in Proton in early October to great reviews.

Derek Howell was the headliner of the second event, with support from Can Costa, Pepe Camil & Oscar Colin.

Coming up in February, Underexposed will be featuring another Greek dj/producer... Andrew K! Stay tuned for more details.

This show is mixed by Jay Epoch who hosts the 'Particles' show and features tracks usually by one artist or label. This particular show is being called 'Underexposed' and will feature several tracks from artists that aren't yet household names but whose productions exemplify the term 'progressive'.

[b]EDIT I take that back. According to the GU Board and a post by Camil himself it states that these are livesets recorded in Mexico. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I checked Proton's site before I posted here and nothing was mentioned of it being a deviation from the normal theme of 'Particles'. I will definitely be tuning into this one for sure.[/b]

Don't get me wrong, Jay mixes a good show and this one will be top form I'm sure, but I know how passionate people get when they find out that one of their favorites is going to do a show.

Hiya guys,

Camil here.. Yep, we recorded the sets and the artists edited some portions not available for broadcast so Jason can put them out in Proton. All I can say is that both Derek and Can played some great sets... for me, Derek changed my mind on how he plays by laying TOUGH tunes. He kept the place going for over 3 hours!

I dunno how long the sets will be (that is up to Jason) but rest assured that they are quality! As for me, I?m just the humble promoter that just recorded a good set and will be broadcasted b2b with those two great guys (if u like it lemme know for a link)...

BTW: Underexposed is our promoting company here in Mexico... and we will have Andrew K soon!

Love the track in the Derek Howell mix that samples Phil Collin's "I can Feel It". Its also on his Kiss mix.

Does anyone have Derek Howells set that he played??? It would be great to get that somehow........msg if you have it or know where I can get it.
