I had to wear a uniform too when i went to private school. It wasnt bad, I think it did help with alot of bullshit. I talked to whoever so it didnt realy matter to me, but it trains ppl at a young age to dress a certain way and be presentable at school. The whole individuality thing can wait till after school.
