god i always found these funny, but i just broke out in tears after hearing the one with the ghetto talking guy who calls in and yells "call an ambulance, i got into an accident" and he is all flustered. then he gets his girlfriend/wife on line.

satan, keep that seat warm.

THOSE onstar commercials on the radio where they use actual emergency calls from people who were in accidents and other type of emergencies. i dont know why, but i find a lot of them histerical.

#341695Post 5 of 20

chem, Onstar is a service provided for people who lock themselves out of their cars. they put devices in cars and when people lock themslves out, and call Onstar, the door can be unlocked via satellite transmission.

sounds crazy, but its true. and they record these frantic phone calls people make and play them on the radio and tv here.

I picture thesightless as some wierd cross between regis filbin (sp?) and the baby from family guy laughing hysterically at a recording of someone about to die and calling onstar...not sure of the correct smiley here, it's either  or  ...

actually i think i am pretty kind hearted. i just have a really weird sense of humor. admitting is the first step, accepting, the second, embracing the third.

but yeah the mix is about right. regis is my idol. would love to be on TV, especially after getting the network to bounce a schrewd hag like kathy lee and going young and cute. and yes i share stewie's plans for world domination. :D

just imagine. proton radio and eccentric beats pumping out of loud speakers on the streets ala stalin's tactics and legalized cloning of hugh hefner's monthly playmates. oh yeah, and we be using samuel adams and guiness as currency,(dont know how i'd accomplish it, but i would.)

Re: OK, now i know im going to hell quick

oh yeah, sorry to thier supporters/citizens, but the following things would be eliminated.

  1. WWE
  2. fenway park during a home game against Arizona preferebly.
  3. the descendents of JFK ( i really like cuban cigars)
  4. the entire NY jets coaching staff and management, cept herm edwards, i like him, he is funny.
  5. anyone who protests outside of madison square garden when im am going to or coming home from work.
  6. the entire staff at the garden city IRS office.
  7. and on a side note. anyone driving down the wrong way of a one way street will, by law, be required to walk backwards all the time.(cept when peeing,...ewww) :D

I haven't seen any of these OnStar commercials, but I think it's pretty freakin weak that they market their product on people's fears...

but then again, that's what insurance companies do, so what am I talking about?

#341875Post 20 of 20

onstar actually is included in cars, i think you can have it installed, but i they really dont promote it. the only way they make cash off it, is through thier cell network they run off it. the emergency service is free for life in my car.

still though, someone funny about the words ""we've had an electrical emergency"" 2 men down!~
