whoops, sore subject......
kind of cool to think that this thread and this forum might have helped some people quit a habit that is fatal.

Re: Do You Smoke?
Stick with it, it is well worth the effort on so many levels
I was a dedicated smoker myself having tried so many times to quit. The following book made a huge impact and certainly helped me to quit in the end. It challenges your thinking in subtle but very important ways.
Was hoping someone would come up with this. I quit , many years ago through smokeenders, but this has a lot of the same principles.
It opens your eyes to what a silly thing smoking really is. :)

not something i would consider taking up if i were you as pleasurable as it may seem... it's not as safe as everyone is making it out to be
used to smoke it everyday...not something i,m proud of but i don't look back and regret it.. felt so much better without it though when i stopped
on topic.. 2 years this month since i stopped smoking all together

That's not really fair, as it became addicting to you, for Dusk, it may just become the every now and then release from stress and uptight thinking. I think in moderation, a joint can be better than many alternatives for relaxing and chilling the f*ck out.

i know
i,m not anti weed. if i could still smoke it i probably would be to this day. my point was there is a risk in taking it just like there is ingesting any foreign substance but especially with weed just now it has become fashionable to make it look like a wonder drug and make it look safe as fuck when in reality its not.. that alone is drawing more people towards it.. more people = more people at risk
remember doctors used to say tobacco was healthy as well ?

Good on you! Btw... I don't plan to take up smoking as a habit, just needed a stress reliever at the time.. that being said... I didn't get much relief... so I don't see what the big fuss is all about.. then again to each his own.
