I remember the days when I would be so fired up on a Friday to go out. Right now i'm trying to figure out if I'm gonna play John Madden football or GTA San Andreas! If I was in my house past 8pm, I'd start pacing...and if I didn't have a beer in hand by 8:30, I'd consider the night a total loss. Anyone else feel this way? I'm eyeing my bottle of Vicodin I got from the doc and just may call it a night at 9. It's very depressing.

It makes me feel old when I am out and start to get nostaligic observing all the underage drinkers. I like to go out, but I just can't manage 6+ nights a week anymore. :(
i hate kids, mostly the little buggers that throw fits in grocery stores...but especially ones who are 16-21.
surely i didn't act like those doorknobs do when i was that age.

Na - it's not just you... I used to be able to go out and party every night for three nights on the trot, no sleep and plenty of chemicals in between... now it takes me a few days to recover from just one heavy night out! Time for the carpet slippers and blue rinse, me thinks.. :roll: (NEVER!!!)

I only feel old when i get up in the morning after playing football the day before. It takes me a good few strides to get going :roll: Other than that, i still feel as though i`m in my early twenties and... getting younger every day. :lol:

I turned 28 yesterday... I have never felt as old as I do now... Going out to the clubs just doesn't do it for me. In the past I would go to Avalon(Boston) then head over to Rise with a group... Stay til' 6am and make it back for work in NH for 8:30...
Now I'm lucky if I make it to work when I go to bed at midnight...

yeah man! when i was 21 i could eat 4 E pills per party.....but now i only can do half, and the next day feeling awful

I just turned 27 last week, (thanks guys for the big happy b-day thread :roll: ) and I'm with you ruby! I've decided I'm just going to tell myself I'm 25 for the rest of my life. I've even accidentially told others I'm 25 when asked, I'm starting to really believe myself.

your only as old as you make.. the annoying taMborine asshole in crobar nyc, must be at least 50.. hes there everyweekend.. my best friends used to be club whores, there fuckin retired at 23/24 :roll: as you get older you work harder, longer, having kids takes up time and energy.... some ppl get bored... hell ill be waking the grandkids up early on sun to go to afterhours!!!! :P

Out of college, I work all the time, go home and play San Andreas. shit, I pulled 16 hours today at work. it's just another day anymore

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a complete loser...just half. I still go out from time to time, but not as much as I used to. It's more about 30th birthdays and things like that, where we go to some psuedo clubs that play hip-hop and top 40. The last club I went to was Cielo a few months ago. We got 2 bottles between 4 girls and 4 guys and I was a puddle by 1am. Oh well.

Drinking is fun but that sounds like a fun productive night to me... GTA San Andreas would be the winner for me

I just volunteered to help some high school students build robots for some FIRST Robotics Elfun project in the area. I should use my engineering degree for something... and hell, maybe I'll find some hot 18 year old chicka that wants a 22 year old engineer. or maybe I'll just dedicate 3 days a week to a bunch of pimple-covered 16 year old boys. either way, it'll be nice to quit sitting on my couch 6 days a week and drinking on saturday nights.
