Re: how old is too old

I'm 23 and for a serious relationship I wouldn't go older then 30.. But there are some really hot older women out there too :Naughty:

If you are interested in dating somebody...just date with him. Nothing is forever and after a few weeks/months you will realize it anyway if the relationship will work or not. I don't think age should be a matter at all. If he/she makes you feel good and you think it can work fuck Society/your parents's or whomever opinions and just do it. At least you will be more experienced after this and know what it?s like to date with an older guy. My opinion has nothing to do with the fact that I am 36 already btw. :P

Re: how old is too old

Well, I'm 29 and my girlfriend is 21. We've being dating for 2+ years now. Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with the age gap, it's purely down to the personalities of the two people involved. My missus is probably more mature than I am, and I can honestly say this is the most stable and successful relationship I've been in.

If it works, who cares? Even if one person is 20 and the other 40.

as long as you and your partner feel comfortable with it, age doesn't matter

For me it's never age that matters, it always their attitude to life. Oh yeah: and how good in bed they are. From a female perspective, a guy/girl has to be past the age of 25 to know how to locate my tackle and know how to use it. But saying that, I wouldn't date a grandad just cos he could rock in the bedroom!
I choose not to put people in boxes just because of their age.

i think if you're in the late 20s, i.e. 28, you could date someone 5 years younger or more like 22 year old. but both of you should be in the same phase in life - as in, if you're a working person, your mate should be too. he/she should not be a college student when you've already graduated and have been working for a few years. there's just too much of a gap in the mentality and maturity level.

I like milf, and younger than me too always older than 18.

Sorry, but must disagree. As pointed out in my previous post I am 29 and my missus is 21. She's at Uni doing an Art degree, and I work for a living. And it works. So I really don't think it has anything to do with age or situation, I think it's more to do with whether you respect each other, and find each other interesting. I think the larger the age gap the more likely it is that you will be incompatible, but there's definitely no rules to where you should draw the line in my opinion.

^^^ Good points Paul. I gotta add something though. I think both people in the relationship really have to know who they really are and be comfortable with it. Its the reason I believe my earlier relationships failed. We were looking at outside influences to define us and our relationship.

Anyways as to the original question. I'm currently dating someone who is 2 years younger than me and I could probably even date someone as young as 23 (I'm 27). Really age isn't the factor though, it has more to do with my first comment. I feel that usually when people get to be 23 is when they stop looking at how things should be and start dealing with how things are. As far as older mates, I could only go up so far since dating someone older would just make me feel the same (old).

anyone half your age is too young, anyone twice your age is too old. (For a relationship!!!!)

Sex is good at any age difference

#336555Post 59 of 62

I have a problem with dating a girl that is more than a couple years younger than I. Unless it was just a fling. But for a relationship i'd like to know that we can talk about the same kinds of stuff that we did growing up and all that.
