They carried out the execution at midnight. A target was placed on his heart, and there was a blank round put in one of the rifles, so none of the shooters knows who fired the fatal round.
If I were to be executed, I'd want to go out like that.

I don't see why this is a big deal. I would say this is more humane than the electric chair for sure. and probably less suffering than lethal injection. I'm betting that's why he chose this method.

As Steve said....he got what he deserved. I really don't think that any way to murder/kill someone is humane. There will always be arguments on both sides saying which is the "kinder way to kill a murderer". In the end, there really isn't a right or wrong answer.
The way I look at is they never gave 2 cents about how the people they murdered felt, or how the nicest way to kill them would be.....they took another persons life and didn't give a shit about it. They deserve whatever they get imo

Personally I believe murder is wrong whoever commits it, individuals or states. If you read those links you would see that it is also stupid and totally unproductive in every way. It is actually more expensive to execute someone than to keep them in jail. If someone I loved was murdered I would want them to suffer , and that means they have to live to suffer. Once they are dead they can't suffer any more.
We have stated our opinions and we obviously have a difference of opinion that is so strong nothing we say is going to influence the other. So let's not even try.
