I've always seen videos where high frequencies were used to show glasses shattering and when I saw the LFA commercial a few days ago as well, just like all other times, I thought it was computer animated.

because it's a lexus. we'd all probably feel the same if it was a buick too (or a lot more other brands that fall into that category). prime example is the VW Phaeton, which flopped harder than a clay pigeon. can't believe VW is releasing the Phaeton II despite that disaster.

though have you seen the Top Gear special on the LFA? According to Richard Hammond (who reviewed the car), he said the engine revvs so fast, an analog RPM meter couldn't keep up with the changing RPMs and so Lexus had to implement a digital one. That tidbit just blew me away.

when you watch the review and watch the car revv up and down, it jumps up and down on the revv band between numbers, it isn't a smooth/gradual climb/descent.

The price is all wrong for the LFA, 350k plus is way too much for any Toyota/Lexus. I would compare it to the Nissan GTR, don't get me wrong both are well cool and i know the LFA is supposed to be amazing and all but it should be a competitor for the GTR in terms of price, its hardly a vastly superior machine in terms of specs.

Phaeton's are wicked. Total sleeper car, great way to get to 180 with all the family.

The technologies involved in the building of this car are unprecedented. They use a machine for the carbon fiber parts that is the only one in the world. I know its a Lexus and its very expensive, but imo its worth every penny and we shouldnt judge the brand only because they make cars for old people. This one is a beast and has more technology built in than stephen hawkins wheel chair.

Well its got a +350k pricetag from a couple of different links i found on the net. Fair fucks to Lexus for making the car, its different, i praise them for that but i was takin back by the cost of the thing. It does look similar to the FT-86/AE86 concept out a couple of months ago.

I agree with these guys. It's still a lexus and for that price I could get a far better Aston Martin or Lamborghini.
