sucked ass. am oncall this week. mom decided to have a bday party for my dad this weekend who just got back from kuwait, so i drove 2 hrs home. got paged on the way there. was on the phone and online working for 2 hrs then had to drive 2 hrs back to indy to goto the datacenter. was done by 11pm. then got paged again at 2am. lame.

Any weekend I don't have to work is a good weekend.

Friday night went out for dinner, had some whiskey in a classy whiskey bar after, hopped to a grungy bar for some EDM, then ended up on the street eating yakitori.

Saturday went out shopping. I love shopping.

Sunday went hunting for tobacco after reading a tip online, found a convenience store selling them but no Old Holdbourn nor Golden Virginia. Went to another district to look for another tobacco store, fail. Took the Lonely Planet Walking Tour of the Bund, boring and packed as fuck. Shanghai is only enjoyable when the crowd's not around. Had a burger for dinner, bought some pirated DVDs.

Monday morning hit the gym, back in the office. Tonight the bosses are taking the team out for dinner to celebrate a win. Hopefully no dramas this week.

Let see, had my flight cancelled out of Vegas to NYC on Sat got drunk at airport, book another flight, made it to Sullivan Room to see Tom Middleton who was next level, would post pics but image uploader won't let me. Sun day/night, went to see Danny Krivit and for those who have ever seen him or been to Body and Soul, you know how roots this kind of night is, Dance Music 101, he played so many classics it hurt, he started at 6p and played till 2a, if I can figure out how to post vids, will do. just got in, hit up by an escort but my atm card would not work, maybe it is trying to tell me something. Finally going to sleep, Francois K tommorrow, will try to figure how to upload footage any advice would be welcome. Haikus to follow.

went to the zoo....smoked a ton of weed and skunk...played ps3 did a set had sex, had beer ate a ton of ice cream...the usual...not too bad i suppose...

Took my 1 yr old daughter to the beach for the first time on Tybee Island near Savannah GA...ate a ton of Blue Crabs, drank way too much beer and mixed for about 8 hrs with a good friend of mine.

Finally discovered a decent underground house/techno night in Dubai, proper banging sound system, decent vibe, excellent music and 2 for 1 drinks before 11 30 pm......free entry to top it all off! Mo the Gaffer joined in the fun as well!

Other than that played footy in 40 Celsius heat, generally lazed around, got deeper and deeper into the absolutely brilliant Breaking Bad, what a f*cking show!

I did exactly what I wanted to, which wasn't a lot, and I fucking loved every minute of it, ended the weekend with cocktails on the beach with the lads last night, and a bit of research and development :)
