Re: what's your favorite (or any extremely good sets) set from 1995 - 2005?

some of the one's still in my collection.

Matt Diamante's "DreamStates" for Rhythmaculture on Proton Radio in '04 Digweed's first e-mix from back around '95. Oakenfold's Creamfields '99 Sasha @ Babylon '99 Digital Witchcrafts's 7-30-2003 mix for Proton Radio Desyn's live E-mix from WMC in 2005 Danny Howell's sunset club mix from 2005 Digweed's '04 mix from Lebanon

there are maybe two dozen other e-mixes i'd throw onto that list, but i think the one above is a fairly accurate picture of what i think has been the best sets from that decade.

if i had to narrow it further

it's a toss-up between the Digital Witchcraft set and Digweed's 95 e-mix.

Re: what's your favorite (or any extremely good sets) set from 1995 - 2005?

i'll never forget 3 of them:

 • Essential Mix Live From Tribal Storm Tokyo (12-08.01) - Sasha, Dave Seaman, & Paul Oakenfold (just - priceless!)
 • Steve Lawler - Tribal House mix [2001] (not sure if this one is called like that, that's what my ID tag says)
 • DJ Gavio - November 2004 Promo (probably not many of you know this Slovenian guy but i'm still falling for this mix and still ripping my ribs apart every time like ive never heard it before)

edit: and a must-have-in-my-car classic: Deep Dish - Live @ Renaissance Amnesia, Ibiza (13.09.2002) !

^^^ He's been in Australia the last few days. Not my cup of tea but the guys love him ! :)

Essential Mix Live From Tribal Storm Tokyo (12-08.01) - Sasha, Dave Seaman, & Paul Oakenfold

According to Mixriot that date was Pete Tong.

Re: what's your favorite (or any extremely good sets) set from 1995 - 2005?

I heard he's down actually. Day party in Sydney - sounded tempting.

I liked everything JZ did up until Alive and a few sets after. After that, I lost interest.

Correct. 12-08-01 might be the date when they've played it dunno, i have the set under this name "Essential Mix Live From Tribal Storm Tokyo (12-08.01) - Sasha, Dave Seaman, & Paul Oakenfold.mp3" on my old backup CD and i see it under that name on some web portals also, so i guess i'm not the only one, and what they did with the title.. heavens know only, but this set is heavenly mindblowing anyway :Naughty:

Its fake. Its some Knob Jockey in his bedroom who has knocked up some mix with loads of big tracks from the time then shared it on soulseek with key words "Sasha, Dave Seaman, Paul Oakenfold & Essential Mix" so it shows up in loads of soulseek searches and brain dead morrons think its genuine and download it. Then before you know it its all over the net. Then DJ Knob Jockey beats off because he gets to read about who great his mix is.

Sasha played The Arches in Glasgow on that date. Steve Lawler wamed up for him. |t was the same day as MOS Knebworth
