So i've pretty much axed my plans for for Vegas - as my friends are dolts and shit's overpriced to all hell. I do road trips alot, so I've been highly contemplaing a drive out this year to DEMF. But fuck me chugging, that's one killer drive from Southern California; I might as well stop by all my relative in the midwest, and cruise to Ney York while I'm at it! Weighed down heviely this year by school and work (this next month esp.), and flight's are rediculous at the moment (still looking), so chances look grim. Looking for some kind of big break.

I can think fo but a few festivals that come close to DEMF. The linup looks absofuckinglutely redic!

[ms] has got to have a nice kick back, meet up or what not. please be sure to post pics and vids fellas!!

In. Live right across the river from Hart Plaza but am doing the hotel (Doubletree) thang for the first time this go round. Saves from cutting a great night short stateside to hit the last tunnel bus back home. Always been a fantastic time but ever since Paxahau put their stamp on the festival a few years back, shit went next level amazing. Increased attention spent on sound and overall production value has really made this the highlight of the year, party-wise for me. Tentative plans so far include the Blue Collar Showcase @ The Works (CVS, Seth, Worthy), and Villaboat but would definitely love to hit the Lovebirds rooftop set @ Exodus if time permits.

i'd only wanna go to see Villalobos. But would rather see him by himself and not have to sit and listen to a bunch of other dj's I could give a shit about. Yeah I really don't listen to any of them anymore. But Villalobos is pretty much the only guy i'll listen to these days. Now I would stick around for CVS after him at the Beatport stage, but Three hours of Ricardo should be enough for a long time...for me to reflect and enjoy.

Does anyone know how much tickets are at the door?

I'm looking at $60 + $7.95 convenience charge online. But if I remember correctly you can get the tickets without the convenience charge at the gate. But it could be that the tickets themselves are more expensive at that point...
