Sasha Kiss100 Mix
Sad Digweed recycled a liveset he already aired on his Transition show some weeks ago.
I just got back from the holidays! Need to start the new year with this beauty!
Re: Sasha Kiss100 Mix
fuck yeah!
Digweed's mix sucked imo. Once again... Not a good way to start the year. That's MY PERSONAL OPINION.
-Psynce-
listened to this once last night and once this morning...just another reminder of how bored i am with dance music at the moment... puts on Arvo P?rt mmmmm 8)
skimmed through this last night hoping to be impressed...wasn't.
recycle bin. empty. gone.
^ i went through the very same shit a few months ago, i couldnt listen to shit so i just gave it a break. I went back to my roots and listened to Floyd, U2, the Stone Roses etc etc for a while. Gradually though ive slowly got back into it with the release of the new Sasha album and a few good sets that have been floating around.
never heard of Arvo P?rt though.

I know I'll piss simon off but to be honest, that's pretty much what sasha has been doing of late. Ableton / No Ableton..... he's been getting progressively worse (at least for me)..... putting in a few banging melodic / atmospheric tracks into a mix just isn't cutting the Sasha peak time cake anymore....

- Yoshimoto - Du What U Du (TrentMoller Remix)
- System 7 - Planet 7 (Son Kite Remix)
- Dirty Vegas - Walk Into The Sun (King Unique's V.I.P Dirty Dub Re-Edit)
- Infusion - Love & Imitation
- Chable & Bonnici - Ride (King Unique Remix)
- Super Discount 2 - Fast Track
- Slacker - Medicine (Theres Grace In Madness)
- Guy Gerber - Stoppage Time (Dave Gardner & Sahar Z Haoman's 17 Mix)

ah well, i'm sure i'll come back to it at some point
Double post

You should have been at Fabric a few weeks back. Before that i would have said very much the same as you have. I suppose the atmosphere and alcohol had an effect on me but he was outstanding that night. I do like this set btw.
Cool set, nothing special though. And the diggers part is a bit of a let down after previous week. The first hour of that was special. Just like teh aria set from some time ago. This one is just too repetitive.
A mix from the man is always welcome.
I wonder if this will be the famous 'new' mix that will be on Sasha's site 'soon'...

yep. the digweed set followed sasha's...right into the trash can.
pffffffffffffffffff pfffffffffffffffffffffffff pfffffffffffffffffffffffffff
Re: Sasha Kiss100 Mix
you guys should stop moaning! sasha's mix was great and half of digweed's too.
you will not hear anything better, as sasha sets the standards and thats the way music is now, get your head round it. :|
Re: Sasha Kiss100 Mix
^wow. sorry i have different music tastes than you. gfys.
Re: Sasha Kiss100 Mix
And on the seventh day the Lord rested and unfortunately for many, a brain was not given unto them. These lands were later to be known as Africa, Europe, Asia and South America, the "garbage lands".
Amen
That tune at minute 18:00 is just craaaazy! The rest of the mix... 7/10.
which track is playing on the 23rd minute of diggers mix? it's something big :) his hour is awesome.. sasha's mix is good too :)
EDIT
Alex Neri & Federico Locchi - Aurora as I saw in another thread here.. GREAT
CHEERS
I only liked the first 15 minutes of Digweed's set.. all after that isn't the kind of prog I like at all
agree with groomy
dling it now.....for me its been a while since Sasha has put out quality music.....but im interested????
imo this is not a patch on the sasha set from last xmas period. But it seems i have become bored with music as other things have been dominating my life :(
Re: Sasha Kiss100 Mix
nice set from Sasha imo. I begin to enjoy it more after more listens.
I'd have preferred to hear the 1st hour of Sasha's set, all in all a bit a let down. Still - at least he recorded something recent.
Diggers mix was very disappointing - pity he couldn't broadcast more of the University set from the previous week ... plus I'd have loved to have heard his 2004 Space closing.
I've been playing Diggers 2001 Twilo, Crobar and Arches sets recently -now there is some top notch stuff

I don't know about all that...
Something to consider is that a lot of these people on the boards have listened to practically every Sasha set that has been floated for years.
So I think it's safe to say they know what's what.
Sasha's mix rocks. Much better than the Arena one anyway. :D
good, good, but...not the best  i've been expecting something more!
Re: Sasha Kiss100 Mix
Nice house I?m listening now the JD after that sasha
wtf, i have like this love/hate relationship with sasha, it seems hes better in a studio then spinning live.. last time i saw him in ny, he was garbage, then like a week later, all these U.K. ms'ers( whos music taste and opinion i respect) start creaming over how good he was :?: even though it was an hour, his performance for the bmp @ crobar was awesome  this mix rules.. i just wish i could catch him at the right moment :?
i grabbed both sasha and digweed mixes on digg's show, sasha's mix is nice but i liked more digweed's mix, more downtempo, much better in my opinion
whos music taste and opinion i respect
LOL
Re: Sasha Kiss100 Mix
about time Sasha pulled out some good stuff. this is a great set...the best I've heard from him since A.D.D.
Re: Sasha Kiss100 Mix
Absolutely brilliant set :Respect:
- Yoshimoto - Du What U Du blow my mind
