the clubs in vegas blow goats for quarters, as does 99% of the music. awesome pools, sweet casinos, world class cuisine = vegas.
epic tuneage (probably the best lineup i've seen at detroit in 5 years), massive parties, massive soundsystems = detroit.

Why doesn't Vegas have an electronic music festival? I know, I know, Detroit! But still...
I remember hearing rumours of having the WMC in vegas a few years back.
Why not skip both and head to moonpark?

Why not skip both and head to moonpark?[/QUOTE] They tried it a few times in 07 and 08 that is where I got those Sasha vids in 08, I live here Memorial Day weekend has nothing worth going to, all the events are oversold and overpriced, even with my connects to get in, I still had to hop a fence to see Victor Calderone play an afternoon 8 hr set. Unless you have a grip of money, it is not even worth it. June 6 Lawler, JZ and Catteneo are playing Sunday 2 Wet Republic, way more happening, there are some good days here, Behrouz, Sander, and Sander Van Doorn have come through lately. DEMF is the way to go, I'm heading to NYC on Sunday for Body and Soul, then Francios K on Monday.

DEMF > Vegas imo. Jenks said it best that it depends on what you want. I'll take DEMF over food, gambling, pool parties weak DJ line ups and open format clubs.
