About 1,500 people were inside the club for a performance by a rock band when the blaze erupted.
it says it was for a rock band something like that just went on close by me a few months ago clubs and fire are not cool

#330323Post 4 of 20

why do people keep dying at rock events? seems to happen far too frequently.

#330325Post 5 of 20

heat, fire and stampedes seem to go well together

#330356Post 6 of 20

sucks :(

it's amazing that people don't know or understand what's in these places...

169 dead..I bet mainly from stampedes...

Re: Argentina disco blaze 'kills 88'

the people in the disco lock the exit dors to prevent, people entry with out paying , thats unvelible, but truth, a lot of people die, is not fear

#330555Post 14 of 20

When was the last time 175 people died at a club with techno playing?

I'll bet never.

Yeah, with this sad form of population control comes the potential for more food and longer survival of the Human race...

#330561Post 15 of 20

Why don't they lock the doors from one side? Jeez that's stupid.

#330814Post 16 of 20

175 dead...

convenient the owner disappeared too...maybe he was one of them...

#331012Post 17 of 20

The owner is alive, and very healthy indeed.

This is similar to what happened in a Paraguaian shopping centre, where there was a fire and the owner decided to lock up the doors, to avoid people escaping the place without paying. The owner of the argentinian disco said: "Don't fire up flares, we don't want to end up like the people in Paraguay". In some sad way, they ended like that...

So the responsability of the owner is even bigger... he knew what would happen if there was a fire in the place, and he didn't unlock the exit doors... FUCK YOU!!!

This is so shitty guys, things like this can't still happen on the 21st century.

Before this episode, in our country, there was only one death in a rock concert... and the boy was killed by the police.

Shit, and more shit... my condolence to the families who lost their beloved ones.

-Psynce-
And the Lord spoke, "Judge not lest ye be judged." After this statement, God sat on his toilet and out came out what would later be known as the country of Belgium.

Amen
