Re: Why just telll me why????

Proves once again that science can be used for not so good reasons. I wonder what a purpose behind it was. To prove that it can be done? In the article it is mentioned that she is a professor of some kind, so she has to be some what intelligent person. I guess kids upbringing was never a consideration. Seems to me like a selfish publicity act by a senile woman.

Yeah, it seems that long term implications are never really considered with things like this. Just seems like its scientists trying to 'prove' something and not concerning themselves with the long term affects.
I wonder if se will live through it? thats pretty old to be having twins

The oldest women recorded to have a baby was in her 80's wasn't she? 67 is old, but it's not THAT old. Come on dude... she's not going to die from having a baby.

#330131Post 12 of 32

First of all, I hope they just inserted the semen, b'cos I really pity the guy that would have had to shag her.

Second, if that was my mom and I'd crawl out of her, I'd instantly apply for a post-natal abortion. After I shit the doctor's face that made me existent.

#330158Post 13 of 32

She should go to Jail for doing this...no kid should be raised without parents. When the kids are 10 she is most probably already dead and she will never be able to play with her kids or go wild with them. Stupid grandma and doctors doing things because they can.

#330266Post 14 of 32

The probability of conceiving twins is greater as you get older... though the probability of getting laid drops fairly swiftly

Please tell me that she won't be breast feeding the poor little feckers.

#330501Post 19 of 32

The only way she could have gotten pregnant was through in-vitro fertilization using somebody else's egg and maybe not even her husbands sperm. So these children will have no biological connection to this woman. People just don't know when to quit.

Re: Why just telll me why????

This is mad, what a selfish bitch  There are so many couples out there who are having problems trying to have kids then crap like this happens. She'll be in her 80s when her kids are teenagers, that's nuts :HolyShit: Women go through the menopause for a reason and that reason is that they are too old to have kids :EvilFlic:

#330735Post 24 of 32

The true question would be WHO HAD THE GUTS TO DO IT WITH GRANDMA ????

#330761Post 25 of 32

When the kids become teenagers she will be 80 something. She will surely have a lot of fun trying to raise them. Unless she gets a nanny then my post makes no sense.

#330765Post 26 of 32

i feel sorry for the twins to have such a ugly looking old mole like her for a mother :s

#330809Post 27 of 32

i don?t know how do i have to think about

#331009Post 28 of 32

#331033Post 29 of 32

Her pussy will fall out for sure, she will be dragging it like old Louis Vutton luggage through the airport . Maybe she will feel maternal again and thinks this will prolong her life, having to raise them . :mama:

BIG QUESTIONS

 1. can the fetuses live in a post menopausal bloodstream?
 2. along the previous lines, will the baby's bones devlope properly, considering osteoperosis may very well be in full swing? again they will be sharing the same blood streams for some time.
 3. what are the legal implications that the woman's family have if she dies during birth and it comes out that many doctors disagree with was done? i.e. does the doctor who preformed the fertilization get bound to any liablility if this goes wrong? even worse off, if the children have any seroius defects(retardation, handicapp, weak circulatory/immune systems)

either way, this just doesnt seem right in my humble opinion.
what do you think about that? i think medicine has gone just a little bit too far the question raised here is who is more important?the woman who finaly acomplyshed her dream to have a kid or the kid's live who has big chances to become in a couple of years an orfan
Thought i would find original . . . . .

Although i generally believe its a womans right to do with her body as she chooses, something about this leaves a vile taste in my mouth.

I'm sorry for the woman as she was unable to concieve naturally, and spent 9 years having infertility treatments before they were a success, however, what seems to be forgotten here is the future of the child.

Even accepting the fact that the womans family tend to live long, what sort of quality of life will the child have, at say, 4 or 5 years old with a 70+ mother. I can hardly see her rolling around in the sand pit with her child!

However as easy as it might be to condemn the woman for her selfishness, one must also look at the medical team that allowed this procedure to be carried out.

IMHO something has gone terribly wrong when the wishes of a retired woman are given more weight then the future requirements of any child she might have.
