I haven't read many posts lately and I saw this thread today and my initial thought was that it was a really bad stupid april fools prank. But fuck :(

Wow, I didn't come across this thread until this evening!

So hard to believe that his happened! He was still in his 20's for goodness sakes. Truly a very sad and terrible event, my condolences are with his family!

I actually first spoke with Jeff about 8 years ago on another forum and had completely lost all touch until I just happened to notice that he was a member here on [ms] when I first joined the forum. We occasionally talked here on [ms] via PM and I have always been a [B]huge[/B] fan of his mixes!

Absolutely shocked--He will be missed! And does anyone know what happened? (PM me if you want)

I believe this video is from his good friend and DJing partner Jamie Norman (spinning in the video and also in a lot of the pics with him). They hosted a tribute night for him in Alberta this past Thursday. I am blown away and really touched by what Diggers said. What a stand up guy!

Jamie did a great job in putting everything together for that night - from the reports he really did Jeff proud with lots of nice touches and gave him a great send off like a true friend would.

Jeff brought out the best in people, a rare quality. Jeff is sorely missed, but his spirit and influence will live on with the people who's lives he touched for many years to come - that was the measure of the man.
