Hey all I just got in from seeing John Digweed play at Celebraties in Vancouver. That was my first time experiencing John Digweed live and all I can say is WOW! My ears are ringing but it was worth it. What a way to end my 7 weeks out here! Hopefully I can pull more together tomorrow night. Not drunk or high just tired and I have to work at 7am. Cheers everyone!

Digweed in Vancouver
Re: Digweed in Vancouver
Glad you had a good time mate. Sir John always delivers from start to finish on his sets. It would be nice if you uploaded any pics from the gig. Cheers

Pics needed !!
Glad you had a great time - how long did John play for ?
Assume 2000000 Suns was dropped at some point too.
Re: Digweed in Vancouver
I don't follow him that much anymore but he played these tunes...
Alan Fitzpatrick - Face Of Rejection Faithless - Not Going Home (Eric Prydz Remix) - looped the breakdown before the cheesy vocal part and mixed into another record King Roc & Dimitri Nakov - Jardin Nights Way Out West - Future Perfect (Henry Saiz Remix) - last track
There was this one tune he played that's still ringing in my ears. It has a really long breakdown that lasts for minutes than some heavy bass crashes in then "I won't hurt you, I won't touch you" vocals repeated over again....it has a melodic bassline. Huge track...be any easy ID if you've heard it before...Pretty big standout tune.
Some Led Zeppelin like vocal track that went "relaxxxxxxxx"....a few tracks with some cool robotic vocals, some record with the same tribal banter vocals from Greece 2000.
Anyone got some other ID's that would be cool....most of it was big room prog with big breakdowns and heavy techno.

Sounds like a massive night, a friend of mine had planned to go and then she cancelled at the last minute, gosh, I would have traded places in a second if I could!
