Re: I quit!!!!

What's up with the insults pumper? That shit's not needed here, especially when a fellow ms'er is needing support for a situation that's bothering him.

Hey, if you accept getting mistreated by your boss, so be it, but don't harass someone who's actually got the balls to speak his mind.

Re: I quit!!!!
There is a reason why your old boss is a boss. He didn't get there by accident and you and everyone else who quit will always be a quitter. By the way that letter you sent to his boss will do him nothing but favours with his boss. It'll save him the hassle of tribunals with weak employee's like you crying like a child, its business not play-school!
maybe the pic was a bit much, you're a doosh, that's all

Re: I quit!!!!

Do you think that bosses, on average, get letters from ex-employee's moaning about how bad they were treated. No. That's because its not grow up behaviour. Carry on ..

Re: I quit!!!!

You are a moron....My dislike for my old boss has been hinted about, on here, by me, for the past few years....

Unfortunately, jobs in my line of work are few and far between...If I could have quit at the exact moment the boss began treating me like shit, I would have...That being said, I toughed it out for 3 years...

You wouldn't know this because you have just joined the board, and are a punk ass bitch who doesn't know any better...

At least, at the first chance I got, found a new job, and then let my old employee know exactly how I feel.... I am not one to push around, and I definately protect my reputation of not being a pushover in my town.

That being said.....Get a life, and stop trying to live mine...

Re: I quit!!!!
Here it is folks....My lovely letter to the owner of the company that I worked for.... I have changed the name of both the owner and the boss just in case the bastard wants to sue me for lible and/or slander....LOL

Here it is...

Jim,

I just wanted to explain to you, why I decided to leave your agency.

First of all, let me first tell you something about Ron. This man needs to be examined. He is NOT in control of himself at all. He can go from being the nicest person you have ever met, to being the most evil person, with just the flip of a switch. I could be talking to him about something, and the very second that he mis-interprets what is being said to him, he will interrupt with shouting and belittling.

The way he processes incoming verbal communication is with extreme insecurity and judgement against his character. He acts as if everyone has something against him or is out to prove him wrong. Paranoid is one word I would use to describe his behavior.

Another factor for me leaving was that Ron is a extreme narcissist. He is always right. You can never do anything to impress him or make him happy. About 95% of the work that I completed in your agency was met with such negative criticism and such belittlement from him. Nothing was ever right in his eyes. He would second guess me by calling MY customers after I would bind their policies. He would suggest that I should have done this, or that I should have done that, to my customers. He would often pull my customers files and have me make corrections WITHOUT the customers permission. I would find work on my desk that I already completed, but he would want me to revise it, even though the customer had asked for these certain items in the first place!

RON IS THE MAIN REASON WHY I HAD SUCH A HARD TIME WRITING NEW POLICIES BECAUSE HE HELD ME BACK WITH ALL OF HIS PETTY DEMANDS, DAY IN AND DAY OUT.

The lies that he was feeding you about me are ridiculous. He made it sound like I was some sort of lazy, incompetent idiot. You were never around to see that I was nothing of the sort. You just had to rely on Ron and his exaggerated, narcissistic, and brainless descriptions of me and my work ethic.

He really DOES think that the world revolves around him and that he makes all of the rules!

Ron wanted someone to work for him that would be weak, easily controlled and give in to his ever increasing demands. I was not one of these people. Since I couldn't be controlled by him, he grew angry and frustrated with me. He must have forgotten that I am an ADULT! The way he treated me for the past three years is something he should be extremely ashamed of.

I really cannot understand how your agency is still in business with Ron in charge. The way he treats customers is no ones business. He continuously insults, argues, and is bossy with customers with his demands. You really need to be in the office more to get a real grasp on this mans behavior and how it is affecting your agency. I once had a customer come in and would only talk to me. He said that "the man down the hall is a moron." I couldn't help but agree with him. I have had one person, who works for one of the reputable restoration companies in town, tell me that at a continuing education class, Ron had his shoes off and was walking around the classroom eating the food from the catering company. I had another customer tell me that "there is something wrong with him." The girl that used to work next door to us described Ron as creepy, and that she didn't want to be around him because when he came over to "introduce" himself, he was hitting on here AND her mom!

The way that he twisted everything to be in his favor is despicable, and that of a criminal!

All of this being said. I believe he will scare off more employees in the future and you will constantly have a high turnover rate because no one can meet his demands..

Time to wake up, Jim.
well you just made a big favor to jim. now if you like the guy its cool you wrote that letter so he may learn from his mistake and fire this ron guy and make a better working environment for everyone in the future, but if you hate the guy you just gave him a free and valuable advice which is pretty big of you in a given situation ;)

Re: I quit!!!!

I like the owner, "Jim". That's why I wrote him the letter. I DO NOT like the boss, "Ron". That's why I told the owner how I felt about him..

You haven't met either person nor communicated with neither to know what's what. Take it with a grain of salt and lend a listening ear to someone you'd probably get to know a lot more on the internet, rather than the twat he's complaining about. It'll get you somewhere around these parts doing so.

And please don't tell me I'm using my position as an admin ... blah blah. Just saying that's Chapter 1 of "Making Friends 101"

Re: I quit!!!!

I told my old boss what an absolute arsehole he was because he was and acted and treated people like an arsehole. I reported to him and therefore felt he could take it. .... hey guess what? He took it just like I thought.... an arsehole!

Re: I quit!!!!

Having left a job in circumstances I wouldn't have chosen I would always recommend not burning yoru bridges. What goes around comes around. Usually you will not be the only person who has been messed around by your boss. I wouldn't be surprised if the owner of the business knows all about your boss' behaviour and it's just not in his interests to change the situation. However having moved onto something better I'll give you a slap on the back. Hope you are feeling good.

Re: I quit!!!!

^^Screw the bit about burning bridges. I will not let these tools dictate my work .... Most people tip toe around life thinking that way.... My true self is portrayed by me and me only...I don't care what others think... My life is not based upon this notion of being scared to speak up against those who have wronged me.

Thanks for the pat on the back though. ;)

I agree

Just sent my old company a lawyers letter this morning. Mother f&^kers owe me a huge retrenchment settlement that they have just not bothered to pay.
