Renaissance: Paul Woolford
Re: Renaissance: Paul Woolford
I think he's a quality DJ for the most part, solid productions and remixes as well.
I would say pick it up

Re: Renaissance: Paul Woolford
Paul Woolford for a long time was my absolute favorite composer/producer. I would definitely buy this...if I were still into this music.

what do you mean, if you were still into this music?
Re: Renaissance: Paul Woolford
The microsites are a godsend, does make me decide if I'll buy the cd or not, and on the 2 x 20 min tasters of this, I won't be. Saved me £12!

Trying to figure this one too.. haven't heard the sampler yet.
Re: Renaissance: Paul Woolford
I'm just not much for house music anymore. Been much more into ambient music for the last couple years.
Though I do have a new track of abstract techno up on my soundcloud player.

Well I have listened to the two samplers a few times and there is nothing in there at all that is floating my boat. I know it's only one-third of each disc but it's still a good indication of what the rest of it will be like.
The days of me buying every GU/Ren etc release are long gone. I have wasted so much cash on average or dud CD's - these microsites are a godsend for me!
Re: Renaissance: Paul Woolford
I decided to have a punt on this as I'm going to see Paul next week. I picked up a brand new copy for £6 along with Christian Smith's Renaissance CD
Re: Renaissance: Paul Woolford
Amazon?
Re: Renaissance: Paul Woolford

I have to agree with you on this one Greg, it didn't do nothing for me. After the disappointment of CD1 CD2 sounded promising for the first 30 minutes then just fell off a cliff. I really think taking stems from 40 tracks and making a soundscape packaged as a mix CD doesn't really work.
