british fashion designer alexander mcqueen has been found dead after taking his own life.

The 40-year-old committed suicide just three years after his close friend, isabella blow - who plucked him from obscurity and helped him become a star - killed herself. A source at mcqueen’s office this afternoon confirmed his death, saying: ‘it is a tragic loss. We are not making a comment at this time out of respect for the mcqueen family.’ read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1250249/alexander-mcqueen-commits-suicide.html#ixzz0ff3dx8fg
rip :(

Re: Goodbye Alexander McQueen

I think he was a very selfish person for doing what he did. As are all people who take their life. Buck up and learn to live people. We've all gotta suffer.

Watch what you say here. As Kat said:

Having lost two close friends this way (one being dear Jibs) you realize they are not intentionally being selfish at all. People who end up taking their lives feel they have no other choice. They are simply very troubled souls looking for peace. Most people that struggle to find the light at the end of the tunnel, finally do and realize life is worth living, some unfortunately do not.

It is hard for those of us left behind to fully understand, but those of us close to those who have chosen this path have to hope and pray they finally found their peace.
