Payback for hard work

Since December the 21st we have been working at least 14 hours a day to get screenwash, antifreeze and deicer to our customers. For a few days we have started at 3.30am and finished at 10pm at night. Just when things looked as though they were starting to get back to normal... BOOM!

I have tonsillitis!

Death feels like only two steps away.

Hope you recover soon ;)

mikey, thought you were going to have 'em removed. maybe you should. on the bright side, you'd be forced to take time off of work and stuff your face with ice cream for a week.

The doctor told me that they only remove them in emergencies now-a-days. So me being two steps away from death doesn't count as an emergency? I feel like I have done 10 rounds with Tyson.

^^ Like I need to be poorly to do that !

This is my third day in bed now, the antibiotics don't seem to be working. I'm wondering if I have some form of flu as well. I need to see a quack.

I get step throat or tonsillitis at least 2 times a year, so I definitely feel your pain. I was told the same thing, that they won't remove tonsils anymore unless its an emergency or you get it more than 4 times a year or something to that effect.

I hope you feel better soon!

Re: Payback for hard work

i used to get that shit all of the time, 4 to 6 times a year, it was a fucking nightmare! so i took a little trip to mexico, about 1000 dlls later my nightmares where gone. Not kidding you, but ever since they where take out i haven't really gotten sick, like the flu, cold, all of those, are basically non existent to me.

Re: Payback for hard work

anti biotics are a farce, if you've taken them frequently throughout your life, you body is going to be immune to them, plus they kill EVERYTHING which weakens your immune system

Back at work today even though I am not really running on all cylinders. This is the shit you gotta do when you work for the family business. It's coming up to 5pm and I almost out of gas.

I need my bed.
anti biotics are a farce, if you've taken them frequently throughout your life, you body is going to be immune to them, plus they kill EVERYTHING which weakens your immune system
I hate antibiotics, I was given some last year for my ear problem , Aside from not doing anything for my ears, I felt sick as a dog and came out in the most god awful rash all over!!

I used to get regular tonsillitis than in my mid twenties it just stopped. And I stopped getting sore throats almost completely when I stopped smoking. !
