I'm still in pain. I took quite a few videos, but the audio is crap. I'll see if I can tone down the bass in the audio; if not, I'll post them anyway so you guys can have a looksy.

Small, intimate place, probably 70-80 people. The warm up dj's were really good playing some nice minimal house with nasty basslines. Adultnapper came on at 1 and was still playing when we stumbled out of there around 5. He was great, very into the music and the crowd. He played several tripped out toons. Very good night overall.

how much were tickets? 70-80 people doesn't seem like much to cover the fee for a talent like that

20 at the door, 10 in advance

There may have been more people there at one point, not everybody was on the dj booth side of the bar, but capacity was only 120.

the sound system was pretty badass too considering. I was well impressed with the second warm up guy, not sure which one he was tho. Of course adultnapper was awesome. I was loving it when he played the absolutely storming tune off the recent lazpod 14

i did like it yeah. they let my mrs in even tho she left her ID at the hotel so that set us off on the right track. I just relistened to the Konrad Black Watergate CD and it's a shame I probably wont make it down next time

The club was really cool, great sound, and a intimate atmosphere. Really enjoyed myself. Chris, is that you in the first video?

yea, that's the big wknd of mardi gras! thurs is dirty disco with pete moss, fri is a party at my place for krewe of oak, sat is a party at clint's for endymion, and sun is a party at chris' for thoth and 2 other parades!

Weekend of February 12th is when mardi gras is in full steam, ends midnight on the 16th. I'll probably be in Lafayette by that Sunday, might try and make the Zulu parade for the first time ever. Think they will take my kid in trade for a coconut?
