moment of truth for the mousekid
you're wasting our time with another one of these fucking boring threads. There is nothing that can be said about him that hasn't already been said. !!

Re: is deadmau5 a waste of time?

^^ yeah true, its been quite some time tho from the incident with the interview and i thought that perhaps hes alright after all and that the interview and what came out after it was just a bad and unfortunate time for him.. so i was reading something in a forum about Stereosonic gig in Australia and then someone said this:
Deadmau5 was so so predicatble and is a complete prick.....i seen him walking around and went up to him and he told me to fuk off......pfffff so its true about all thees internet froums about you then WANKER!!
its actually funny when joel jumps in the thread to defend himself and once again he shows us what a complete prick he is  http://www.inthemix.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=253939&page=7

and i dont think its a coincidence that we dont see any of his tracks in the tracklists of big djs.. for a very looooong time now....

Re: is deadmau5 a waste of time?

imo if there's people out there who enjoy his music & productions then he's not a waste of time.

True that. He seems annoying but I like some elements of certain tracks.

Re: is deadmau5 a waste of time?

When he launched his first tracks and mixes a few years ago I loved him, but he went on and on and on and on with the same sound and finally he signed his own death with it. It's a shame, but I think it's true. Nevertheless he's live not that bad I have to say.

#1313562Post 8 of 93

Re: is deadmau5 a waste of time?

Didn't think much of him when I saw him live. However Arguru, Faxing Berlin, and Not Exactly are great.

Re: is deadmau5 a waste of time?

I've seen the mau5 a couple of times and a complete borefest. Boring, pointless melodic progressive house that was done better years ago. File liking him along with newbies who think ASOT is an awesome show.

well considering he wears a mouse head while he is playing I would have to say he is cheesier (No pun intended) than Tiesto and AVB.

You know I am not even a fan but god sakes guys, grow up.!! These juvenile hate threads really are pathetic. Expected on tranceaddict , but not on MS.

#1313697Post 21 of 93

Re: is deadmau5 a waste of time?

I think I made it clear that I meant the fucking boring hate threads about Deadmau5. You even linked to another thread that says all the same things all over again. !!!!!!! If it's the same thread I read they were also saying shit about his girl !! How can you possibly not see that is just not acceptable behaviour.?? How many times do we have to hear how much people hate him. Life is too short for this !!

Btw is a coincidence that we have these sort of threads cropping up everywhere after he got a high spot in the Dj mag poll. Which of course everybody derides. Sore losers at all ??

Just for the record I download the JJJ shows most weeks and guess who has the largest number of downloads by a country mile . !! So many more than Sasha and Digweed. ! The Dj that everyone loves to hate, well obviously not everyone. !!!

I haven't even listened to anything of his in years and really it's not about him, it's about seeing people hiding behind usernames to talk vicious crap !! I just despise that !! They say women can be bitchy, you guys could certainly show us how it's done. !

i dont hate the guy....hatred doesnt run in my blood...i just dont like him,& when i say i dont like him i mean i dont like his figure & djing, dont hate him in person & sure i can spit out my opinion without being bitchin about it...its all about democracy ,chill out DIDI:)

Re: is deadmau5 a waste of time?

I've got no love for Ragga, Happy Hardcore, Speed Garage etc but I don't feel the need to start threads telling everyone. I think a lot of these threads are more to do with resentment of other DJ's success.

#1313719Post 27 of 93

Re: is deadmau5 a waste of time?

^^ well i suppose noone would be interested in threads about happy hardcore anyway.. and i never said im a miserable guy where my only interest is to find bad things said or done by others and post them here.. it happened to come across that thread in the other forum and after a while of not hearing absoletuly nothing about deadbody next thing i read about him is not very nice.. nothing to do with success, it could had happened 4 months ago or in the future, who knows?

the subject of each thread is visible to all, if you dont like it click on the next one.. lets not fight about that guy...

#1313724Post 28 of 93

Re: is deadmau5 a waste of time?

I still find Faxing Berlin a very good tune ... :)

Guys ... let's forget the whole thing.

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone :D
the subject of each thread is visible to all, if you dont like it click on the next one.. lets not fight about that guy...
This whole you dont have to click on it is complete nonsense. Do you only want people to click on the thread who are people who agree with your statement.:?:

People write things that aren't very nice about most people, it doesn't mean they are accurate. Everyone has their fans & their critics its all just down to opinion.

#1313742Post 30 of 93

Re: is deadmau5 a waste of time?

I feel like it was a loaded thread subject from the start...especially given that there's a poll, lmao...

...that said, everyone is more than welcome to voice their own opinion...

...so is deadmouse not an electro dj?

^ think that's about it really

My gut feeling is that the bloke is a cock, but he's not alone there in the music business is he? I don't resent his success, good luck to him..

And as for his fans, when it boils down to it the difference between the people who go and see him and the people who go and see sasha et all is only very slight really.

You'll probably find you have much more in common with those people than you let yourself admit, and i'll put money on it a lot of you will have been out and danced to his productions whether knowingly or not..

Or do you leave the dancefloor/stop having a good time when one of his tunes comes on for no other reason than it was made by him?

^ If you do then that is way fuckin weirder than playing records in a mouse head ;)

Re: is deadmau5 a waste of time?
imo if there's people out there who enjoy his music & productions then he's not a waste of time.
Exactly. He is hardly a waste of time IMO. I happen to like several of his tracks and I am sure he will continue to put out tracks that people like. He can't please everyone (nor can any DJ), but there are people out there that enjoy his music.

As DIDI has pointed out, we have threads like this bashing other DJ's and other styles all the time and they definitely always seem to appear in and around the time of the DJ Mag polls.
he is a cunt.

he is taking everyones money and laughing at them while he does it. dont give him more money. let him go back to failing at making d&b
If you don't like someones music, simply don't listen to it. I feel like I've said these words a million times.....I just don't get the point of bashing other DJ's....just because you don't like their music, doesn't mean they aren't talented...just listen to what you enjoy and carry on about your day....why people have to be so negative all the time is beyond me....life is too short for drama

Re: is deadmau5 a waste of time?

i dont care for him, never did even before his incident, but that being said when he was in Tampa he packed the place and i've heard nothing but good reviews.. if you dig his choons there's no reason to not go see him..

having said that, i really dont see the point in starting these threads about any artist as its always going be split 50/50 for the most part :)
