Re: best UFO video 2date
given that the closest known galaxy is 2 million light years away ( http://hypertextbook.com/facts/1999/SaraLi.shtml ), i would think that our planet actually having alien visitors would be a little far fetched. given a light year is 5.88 trillion miles.... that would take a living creature one hell of a long time to get to earth... and given what we know about animals on this planet, it's doubtful these creatures could survive for trillions of years without food or water (assuming all living creatures live like they do on earth).
ok.... so, maybe a black hole is a portal to other galaxy's, some people believe that. we really do not know much of black holes, this could be a possibility.... the closest black hole to earth has just been discovered ( http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/astronomy/v4641_microquasar_000114.html ) 9,408,000,000,000,000 miles from earth. now, our space shuttles travel at 17,500 miles an hour in space (though i doubt our space shuttles are the most efficient space travelers, this is just a baseline... the fastest crafts are probably shaped like a discus!). anyways, it would take a NASA space shuttle from earth.... 537,600,000,000 years to reach the closest black hole to us.
these numbers make me not believe in UFO's. what i do believe in is the US goverment performing numerous tests that they do not want the public to know about. not that they care about tommy and suzy knowing, they care about other nations learning our secrets.
but hey, everyone knocked columbus for saying the earth was round, right! there is soo much we dont know about space, i will never say never. given these numbers i find aliens a little far fetched is all :what
