kids look up to you. adults look up to you. you are a legend. unless you're worried your secret was going public from someone other than yourself, i think admitting this was a really bad idea when you are such a huge role model.

i don't think his legacy is ruined, but his public image will be dented. the positive approach to his admittance is he was able to right his ship and get back to performing on a high level. too many people that start using that shit go down a very bad path.

I think people are naturally way too quick to regard just about anyone who has made a lot of cash and achieved fame as a role model, when clearly...they shouldn't necessarily do so in many cases (perhaps even most).

I do agree that enough time has most likely passed to where his fans are old enough to handle it...but any time you find out that one of the best athletes of your generation smoked meth, it's a disappointment.

meth didn't help agassi win on the court, just makes him seem like kind of a looser off the court...

meth is in the same category as crack imo though, and ya ya second chances, I get it, still comes as a shock.

i could care less what he does with himself off the court -- as long as his personal fails don't considerably blemish his performance, and skill in action -- i cant judge the guy from that standpoint. who knows what unspeakable sufferings a single individual goes through. aside from that, and for what it's worth, he is a tweaker/douche-bagger, in my honest opinion.

yeah, i frown down on meth as much as you do bro; in fact, i've never done it.

i've been prescribed opiates, though, because of past surgeries and injuries; does that make me a reject?

lol. no, it's speed man, and it erodes you. at least that's what i've gathered from watching several tweaker friends undo themselves, and myriads in the rehab programs that i've worked in over the years. it is an ugly thing. just say no.

just stick with the molly on rave nights.

you can cancel out the pain simply with a sound/steadfast attitude of mind. guard your thought process.

Yeah, been kinda quiet... My company was just acquired, busy with a lot of integration work and figuring out if I would keep my job...which thankfully it looks like I will!...
