i recently downloaded a Martin Garcia Journey Set from September 2009 under the promos section. Sure sounds authentic.

any of our argentinain friends know if Martin got picked up for his radio show again?? would surely hope so...was having major withdrawl

what is throwin me off is the metrodance "journey" voice overs....that is why i though just maybe he had a show again...

Journey is his NEWer show, which was retitled from metrodance, if it its saying Journey, its at least fairly new...probably just a mislabled file that was mistakenly uploaded or something.

The mix is labelled as "last mix" so I assume it is his last mix he did for Metrodance and it never aired.

^^^oh i see. thanks for the clarification.. I had a feelin it was too good to be true.

i sure do miss his sets though....he was one of my favorite all time djs. so orignal with his sound. as unique as they come.

True.. however, have the feeling that Martin wants things go kindda underground (maybe it´s not the exactly word).. Without any doubt he can be more recognized because of his talent but he doesn´t seems to care that much.. Always gave me that impression as a Dj and think in the future he will put his energy on the production thing

im so glad to see this topic, first cuz i got impressed (again!!!) by Martin's set for Proton on 26th :shock: it was hell of a long time since i dedicated a couple of hours of mine to him, i guess other people messed with my mind much more and i forgot about the real values, the ones that got me into progressive at first.. and i feel regrets for that, specially after hearing his Groove Collections set - DOPE! someone said upstairs... :shock: i dont know how and why i was skipping his sets for a long time, dunno if he was present in that ammount as he used to be earlier, at all.. but thanks to a friend i got blown away by his music aftear hearing this one...... so hope its just one in the line and more is coming, still unique and still GARCIA!!!!! dope dope dope, hell of a tracklist and mindblowing techniques he always used for blowing my mind away, cant wait for more to come!

I thought I read somewhere that he has the same representation as Hernan, so it can't be all bad :D Will definitely miss him if he goes into production only :(

I've said this before and I'll say it again, Martin Garcia and Guille Quero are the 2 dj's that I miss tremendously from Metrodance :(
